Which version should you buy?

The Switch 2 announcement said Standard and Deluxe preorders would receive The Dark Knight Returns in-game Batsuit at launch. It also described a physical LEGO Retro Video Game Batman minifigure in the Deluxe launch bundle, while supplies lasted. Can you play co-op, and do you need an online subscription?
The game supports solo play and two-player local co-op. WB Games Support says it does not support online co-op; an internet connection is not required to play, apart from downloading updates. Are LEGO Batman sets required?
