A fan has reimagined LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Sea Animals: Beautiful Dolphins (set 31385) as Hatsune Miku, naming the custom figure “Ocean Queen Miku.” The creator, Reddit user Minute_Food_2881, says the alternate build uses no extra pieces; that is the creator’s claim, not an independently verified parts audit.
What the fan build is
Minute_Food_2881 shared the Miku figure as fan-made work in a post on Reddit’s r/hatsunemiku. The post identifies LEGO 31385, Sea Animals: Beautiful Dolphins, as the source set and describes the result as an alternate build. It is not an official LEGO model or a licensed Hatsune Miku set.

The creator’s post title reads: “My LEGO Ocean Queen Miku alternate build of the 31385 Beautiful Dolphin set. No extra pieces used.” That wording establishes what the creator says about the build; the post does not include an inventory or other independent confirmation that every piece comes from the set.

LEGO lists Sea Animals: Beautiful Dolphins as a 542-piece Creator 3-in-1 set for ages 9+, with a 2026 release year. Its official building-instructions page provides three instruction books for the set’s official models.
#1 Best Overall
- 3 IN 1 TOY FOR KIDS – LEGO Creator 3 in 1 Sea Animals: Beautiful Dolphins (31385) building toy lets boys and girls ages 9 years old and up construct 3 sea animal toys from 1 set of LEGO bricks
- BUILD & REBUILD – Kids can dream up endless stories as they create 1 of 3 brick-built ocean animals: an adult and baby dolphin riding a wave, a seahorse or a crab (models cannot be built simultaneously), and accessorize their builds with coral, seaweed, a posable clam, sea plants and a jellyfish
- POSABLE SEA ANIMAL TOYS – The adult and baby dolphins have posable fins and tails, the seahorse toy has a posable head and tail, and the crab toy has posable eyes and claws
- PLAY & DISPLAY – When playtime is over, the completed build doubles as fun bedroom or play room decor on a shelf or desk
- GIFT FOR BOYS & GIRLS – Makes a fun birthday gift or anytime treat for little builders who love sea animal toys and imaginative pretend play
Those books are for the set’s documented builds, not for Ocean Queen Miku. The Reddit post does not provide Miku-specific instructions. Comments on the post ask whether the creator can share directions, but those requests do not establish that a guide is available.
Can you build the Miku model from the set?
The creator presents the figure as an alternate build made without extra pieces, so the post offers a reason to consider set 31385 if you want to experiment with a similar model. But without Miku-specific directions, you would need to work from the image and your own building process; the available official instructions do not explain how to reproduce this fan design.
