Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteNo: leaked footage does not confirm that DJI has launched a Neo 3 or that it will use a new camera sensor. A report by DroneXL, published October 3 and updated October 6, 2026, says footage and a leaked marketing sheet point to a possible FPV drone; the sheet reportedly claims a square 1/1.1-inch sensor, native vertical shooting and 2x lossless zoom. Those remain leak claims, not DJI-confirmed specifications.
What the leaked footage and sheet actually claim
DroneXL’s report says leaker Igor Bogdanov shared footage and a marketing sheet attributed to the DJI Neo 3. The report describes a drone that appears to be an FPV model and says the sheet’s French text lists vertical capture and zoom alongside a square 1/1.1-inch image sensor.

That distinction matters: footage can suggest that a physical-looking device exists or is being tested, while a printed sheet circulating online is evidence of what the leak claims. Neither establishes that DJI has announced the product, that the sheet is authentic, or that these will be the final specifications. DroneXL reported that DJI had not announced the Neo 3 when its article was updated October 6, 2026.

| Camera detail | Original DJI Neo | Rumored DJI Neo 3 |
|---|---|---|
| Sensor | 1/2-inch, according to DJI’s official specifications | Square 1/1.1-inch, according to the leaked sheet reported by DroneXL; not DJI-confirmed |
| Native vertical shooting | Not stated in the cited DJI specification page | Claimed by the leaked sheet reported by DroneXL; not DJI-confirmed |
| Zoom | Not stated in the cited DJI specification page | 2x lossless zoom claimed by the leaked sheet reported by DroneXL; not DJI-confirmed |
A larger stated sensor format can be a reason to watch for more information, but it does not prove better low-light performance or image quality. The cited reporting includes no independent camera test, confirmed resolution, or hands-on assessment of the Neo 3.
What remains unknown about the Neo 3
The cited report does not establish a confirmed launch date, price, final video modes, or official accessory compatibility. The leaked sheet’s claims could also change before any release. Treat comparison tables or buying advice that present those details as settled with caution until DJI publishes specifications.

- Goggles features are not drone specifications: DJI lists a 1080p 60 Hz LCD display and up to 2.7 hours of operating time for Goggles N3 under specified test conditions. Those figures describe the goggles, not Neo 3 video capability or flight time.
- Other hardware details: The cited material does not verify the Neo 3’s weight, stabilization, obstacle sensing, controller support, or regional availability.
What to take away before making a decision
The responsible reading is that leaked material reportedly depicts or describes a possible DJI Neo 3 FPV drone and attributes a square 1/1.1-inch sensor, native vertical capture, and 2x lossless zoom to it. The original Neo’s documented sensor is 1/2 inch, but that predecessor specification cannot confirm the rumored upgrade. Until DJI announces the Neo 3 and publishes its specifications, neither the sensor claim nor compatibility and buying details are settled.
