The Lava Blaze X 5G is easiest to recommend for its curved 6.67-inch AMOLED display, polished design and clean Android experience—not for its cameras or long-term software support. Its Dimensity 6300 is suited to everyday use and casual gaming, while the 5,000mAh battery delivered a solid result in one review test. Whether it is worth buying now depends on finding a genuine listing at a sensible current price: Lava’s official store marks it sold out, and its 2024 launch prices are no longer a guide to today’s availability.
What the Lava Blaze X 5G offers
Lava’s product listing specifies a 6.67-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, up to 8GB of physical RAM, 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a 64MP main camera, a 16MP selfie camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging. The listing also describes virtual RAM expansion; that is separate from the phone’s physical RAM. Lava’s official Blaze X 5G listing currently labels the product sold out.

These specifications describe the phone, not a guarantee of performance or current stock. The review findings below are from published 2024 reviews rather than new hands-on testing.

The screen and appearance are the Blaze X’s clearest strengths. The 120Hz curved AMOLED panel gives the phone a more premium look than its budget positioning suggests, and 91mobiles praised both the display and design. Business Standard likewise described a lightweight, comfortable handset, with thin bezels and the curved screen helping its appearance. It reported Full HD+ resolution and an 800-nit peak-brightness claim; treat that brightness figure as a claim reported in that review, not an independently verified measurement here. 91mobiles’ review and Business Standard’s review provide those assessments.

- High quality PU leather, very light, it have card slots, can be put into cards and money
- Magnetic flap to keep it closed and protected, secure magnetic closure

Business Standard described the rear as matte-finish plastic and noted a slightly raised camera module. In short, the phone aims for a refined look and comfortable feel rather than premium materials.
What are the camera results like?
The 64MP main camera is a mixed performer, not a reason to choose the phone over its rivals. In 91mobiles’ review, daylight pictures could look washed out or overexposed, while low-light images were soft and grainy. Portraits were a relative bright spot in the comparisons the reviewer made, but that does not erase the weaker consistency in other scenes. The front camera is listed at 16MP by Lava; the available review findings do not establish that its resolution translates into standout selfie quality.
Is performance good for everyday use and gaming?
91mobiles found the Dimensity 6300 capable of basic day-to-day tasks. That makes the Blaze X a reasonable fit for routine use, but it is not positioned by the review as a gaming-focused phone: gaming is best kept casual, and demanding titles may need low graphics settings. Storage is not user-expandable according to the review, so the fixed 128GB capacity is worth considering if you keep large games, videos or offline files on your phone.

- [360-degree rotatable ring mount] – with multi-angle support, it makes watching videos and films both convenient and comfortable, offering an enviable viewing experience.
- 3D multi-directional shape change, depending on different light and angle
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The frosted surface prevents most fingerprints and the 3D design is stylish
- The ring mount features a magnetic ring, allowing you to use it in your car or for other magnetic applications
How long does the battery last, and how fast does it charge?
In 91mobiles’ 2024 battery benchmark, the Blaze X ran for 11 hours and 35 minutes. The same review recorded 26% battery drain over roughly two hours of intensive use and took about 90 minutes to charge from 20% to full using the paired 33W charger. These are results from that reviewer’s tests, not a runtime or charging-time guarantee for every user; screen settings, signal conditions, workload and charger can affect real-world results.
What software support does it receive?
91mobiles reported a commitment of one additional Android upgrade and two years of security updates, which its reviewer considered limited for the segment. That is the review’s account of the support commitment, not an independently checked statement of Lava’s current policy. If you plan to keep a phone for several years, the reported update window is a material drawback to weigh against the attractive screen and design.
What did the Lava Blaze X cost at launch?
Gadgets 360 reported these Indian launch prices on July 10, 2024. They are historical launch figures, not current offers or a statement of present-day value. The report also mentioned an introductory ₹1,000 discount, so a launch promotion should not be confused with the listed launch price.

Is it still available, and is it worth buying?
Lava’s official product page was marked sold out when accessed on October 7, 2026. A 2024 launch report said Amazon and Lava’s e-store were planned sales channels from July 20, 2024; that historical plan does not establish current inventory on either store. Check that a live listing is for the exact Blaze X 5G model, confirm the seller and return terms, and compare the asking price with current alternatives before buying. 91mobiles’ specifications and review-summary page is another reference for the model, but it does not substitute for checking live stock.
91mobiles rated the phone 7.5/10 in its 2024 review. Its reviewer, Dhruv Joshi, concluded: “All said and done, the Lava Blaze X has its strengths even if it can’t stand out among its peers at this price point.” The review named the Redmi 13 5G and CMF Phone 1 as competitors, noting stronger points in areas such as software support and, in particular comparisons, camera or performance. Those comparisons are from 2024; current competitor prices and availability are not established here.
For a buyer who values a curved AMOLED screen, polished design and clean, stock Android-like software above camera consistency, expandable storage or longer reported update support, the Blaze X has a clear appeal. If those trade-offs matter more, or a current seller’s price is not compelling, the phone’s historical launch value alone is not a reason to buy it now.
