The Lava Agni 4 and Agni 4N 5G share much of the same documented core hardware: a Dimensity 8350 chip, 8GB of physical RAM, 256GB storage, 50MP main and front cameras, and a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen. The clearest reported differences are software version and regional features: the UK Agni 4N is reported with Android 16 and NFC payment support, while the India-market Agni 4 is listed with Android 15. Prices reported for the two phones are from different markets and sources, so they do not establish a like-for-like price gap.
Agni 4 vs Agni 4N 5G specifications
The table distinguishes published specifications from details that have not been established for both models. Camera and charging figures are advertised or manufacturer-supplied specifications, not independent test results.

Software and NFC depend on region
The most concrete reported distinction is the UK Agni 4N’s NFC payment support. TechRadar attributes that regional difference to Lava’s Head of Product, Smartphones. It should not be assumed that every Agni 4N has NFC, or that the UK feature description applies to an India-market unit.
#1 Best Overall
- [360-degree rotatable ring mount] – with multi-angle support, it makes watching videos and films both convenient and comfortable, offering an enviable viewing experience.
- 3D multi-directional shape change, depending on different light and angle
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The frosted surface prevents most fingerprints and the 3D design is stylish
- The ring mount features a magnetic ring, allowing you to use it in your car or for other magnetic applications
The reported software listings also differ: Android 15 for the Agni 4 and Android 16 for the 4N. These listings do not by themselves establish that every regional model ships with those versions or that the Agni 4 cannot receive a later update. Lava’s stated Agni 4 upgrade commitment is three years of OS upgrades and four years of security upgrades.
Some Agni 4 details are more specific in the cited listing
Lava’s Agni 4 product page specifies a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The TechRadar report confirms a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel for the 4N, but does not state its resolution or refresh rate. That is a gap in the published comparison, not proof that the 4N has a lower-resolution or slower screen.
The cited Agni 4 product-page text does not state battery or charging figures, while TechRadar reports 5,000mAh and 66W for the 4N. Without comparable figures for both phones, this evidence cannot establish which lasts longer or charges faster.

Is there a real price difference?
Not from the cited figures alone. They mix an India list price, an India comparison tracker’s estimates, and a UK launch report. Currency conversion would not make them equivalent because market, retailer, timing, and sale conditions differ.
| Model and market | Reported price and context |
|---|---|
| Agni 4, India | Lava’s official page listed ₹31,999 and showed the phone as sold out when accessed October 7, 2026. Lava official product listing. |
| Agni 4, India | Smartprix listed ₹30,999 in its comparison. This is a tracker listing, not confirmation of a current retail price. Smartprix comparison, details last updated August 24, 2026. |
| Agni 4N, India | Smartprix listed ₹27,999, but marked its release date as expected November 20, 2026—after the comparison page’s August 24, 2026 update. Treat both the price and timing as estimates, not confirmed launch or live retail facts. Smartprix comparison. |
| Agni 4N, UK | TechRadar reported a £499 UK launch price on September 4, 2026, with availability through Amazon. This is a dated launch report, not a guarantee of today’s price or stock. TechRadar report. |
For a valid price comparison, check both phones in the same country and at the same time. Match the 8GB/256GB configuration, retailer, taxes, availability, and any discounts before deciding that one is cheaper.
Which details should guide a buying decision?
- Confirm the regional model. In particular, verify NFC support on the exact Agni 4N listing if contactless payments matter to you.
- Check software on the unit offered. Compare the installed Android version and the seller’s regional model details, rather than relying solely on a general product name.
- Compare the screen on the exact listing. The Agni 4’s cited listing specifies 1.5K and 120Hz; the cited 4N report confirms AMOLED and screen size but does not give those two figures.
- Do not treat virtual RAM as physical memory. The Agni 4’s “up to 8GB” virtual RAM is separate from its 8GB LPDDR5X.
- Check current stock and price. The official India Agni 4 page showed sold out on October 7, 2026, and the other reported prices are not equivalent live quotes.
Performance claims and evidence limits
Lava’s Agni 4 product page advertises an “1,400,000+ AnTuTu Score.” This is a manufacturer claim, not an independent benchmark result, and it does not provide a reliable head-to-head performance comparison with the Agni 4N. The shared chipset and memory configuration suggest substantial overlap on paper, but published specifications alone do not establish which phone performs better in sustained workloads, gaming, camera quality, battery life, or day-to-day use.
