Tom’s Guide reported the Bose QuietComfort Headphones at Amazon for $169, down from $359, on October 7, 2026, describing the deal as more than 50% off. Its roundup said October Prime Day ended that night, so this is a dated deal report—not confirmation that the offer is still available. Check the live listing for today’s price, stock, eligible color or model, and any Prime-member requirement. See Tom’s Guide’s October Prime Day roundup.
What the Bose QuietComfort headphones offer
Bose describes this model as around-ear headphones for travel, office, or home listening. The manufacturer lists active noise cancelling, Bluetooth 5.1, a built-in microphone, a removable cushion, a carry case, and included audio and USB-C cables. Bose specifies up to 24 hours of battery life; that is a manufacturer figure, not an independent test result. See Bose’s QuietComfort Headphones specifications.

Bose also says, “Bose QuietComfort Headphones are the successors to QuietComfort 45 Headphones.” That identifies the product’s place in Bose’s lineup, but does not make it a workout-specific model.
Are they suitable for workouts?
The deal headline calls these workout headphones, but Bose’s product page positions them for travel, office, and home use. The sources available for this model do not establish an IP water-resistance rating or sweat resistance. Bose’s fitness category highlights a secure fit and water resistance as relevant for workout headphones; those category-level qualities should not be assumed for this over-ear model. #1 Best Overall
- NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES: Effortlessly combines noise cancellation technology with passive features so you can shut off the outside world, quiet distractions, and take music beyond the beat
- COMFORTABLE HEADPHONES: Plush over-ear cushions softly hug your ears, while a secure and comfortable padded band gently keeps your studio headphones in place for those extra-long listening sessions
- 2 LISTENING MODES: These wireless Bluetooth headphones feature Quiet and Aware Modes that let you toggle between full noise cancelling or full awareness of your surroundings for seamless sound control
- HIGH-FIDELITY AUDIO/EQ CONTROL: Supercharge your favorite tracks with high-fidelity audio and Adjustable EQ that puts you in control of the bass, mid-range, and treble for unmatched bold sound
- ALL DAY BATTERY LIFE: Bose QuietComfort wireless headphones provide up to 24 hours of battery on a single charge, plus a 15-minute charge via USB-C gives you up to 2.5 hours of additional play time
That distinction matters in practice. Over-ear headphones may suit a light gym session or stationary exercise if they feel secure to you, but the available specifications do not establish that these will stay put during vigorous movement or withstand sweat. For running, intense training, or sweat-heavy sessions, look for a model whose maker explicitly states its fit and water-resistance rating.
