The Kogan KAQLED65XQ98JSTA is a 65-inch 4K QLED smart TV with a manufacturer-listed 60 Hz refresh rate, Android 11 and four HDMI inputs. But the available public review information does not establish how well it performs: CHOICE lists the exact model as discontinued, while its detailed expert score and test results are restricted to members. Treat the figures below as published specifications, not a hands-on verdict.
Which Kogan TV is the KAQLED65XQ98JSTA?
This review concerns the exact model number KAQLED65XQ98JSTA, named in Kogan’s guide as the “Kogan 65-inch 4K UHD HDR QLED Smart Google TV, Series X, Q98J.” It is not the later Q98G or Q98T. Similar family names are not evidence that those TVs share this model’s specifications. Kogan’s user guide and CHOICE’s listing both identify the KAQLED65XQ98JSTA.

What is known about its review and performance?
CHOICE has a public listing for the exact model and labels it discontinued. The public page does not expose its expert rating or detailed picture, sound, interface, energy or other test results. That means the accessible information is not enough to support a tested verdict on image quality, gaming responsiveness, sound, interface speed or reliability. The specifications alone cannot answer those questions.
CHOICE displays A$829 on its listing, but that figure is not confirmation of a current offer or the price available from a seller today. The page identifies a one-year warranty; check the terms attached to any specific listing rather than assuming they are unchanged.

Is the KAQLED65XQ98JSTA still available?
CHOICE classifies the model as discontinued, and current stock and transaction terms are not established by the public listing. If you find one for sale, confirm that the product number is exactly KAQLED65XQ98JSTA—not Q98G or Q98T—and check with the seller:
- Whether the TV is actually in stock and new, used or refurbished.
- The total price, delivery terms and return policy.
- Which warranty applies and who handles warranty service.
- That the listing’s specifications and included accessories match the exact model.
What to check before mounting or connecting it
Wall mounting
Kogan’s guide lists a 300 × 200 mm VESA pattern and a weight of 19.1 kg. Select a mount rated for that pattern and weight, and verify that the wall, anchors and fasteners are suitable for the installation. Kogan warns in its safety section: “Never place a television set in an unstable location. A television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death.”

The KAQLED65XQ98JSTA’s documented feature set is clear: it is a 65-inch 4K QLED smart TV with a listed 60 Hz refresh rate, Android 11 and four HDMI inputs. What remains unclear from public evidence is its tested performance. With CHOICE marking the model discontinued and withholding detailed test results from the public page, a buyer should verify the exact model and purchase terms and should not treat its specification sheet as proof of picture, gaming, sound or reliability quality.
