Which coffee pods fit?
The manual says the appliance is suitable for “Nespresso original line and Nespresso compatible capsules.” Choose capsules explicitly labelled as compatible with the Nespresso Original format. The available documentation does not establish compatibility with other capsule systems. The CM7001A-SA manual transcription provides the compatibility statement and operating instructions.
How to make coffee
- Fill and fit the water tank, then switch on the machine. Before first use, flush it as directed in the manual.
- Lift the handle to open the capsule gate, insert a compatible capsule and close the gate.
- Wait for the indicator to turn green before brewing. A red coffee-button indicator means the water is not yet at brewing temperature.
- Press the coffee button once for the small cup cycle, or hold it for three seconds for the large cup cycle. The manual recommends 40 ml for small and 90 ml for large.
- Do not lift the handle during brewing. After brewing finishes, lift it to expel the used capsule into the collection tray.

Cleaning and descaling
- Unplug the machine before cleaning. Do not immerse it in water.
- Rinse the removable water tank and capsule collection tray frequently.
- Clean the capsule gate with a dry cloth and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
- For mineral deposits, the manual recommends a commercially available kettle descaling solution. Follow that product’s mixing directions, then rinse the tank and machine afterward. How often to descale depends on local water quality and how frequently you use the machine.
