No IPO filing, approval, final offer terms or confirmed listing date is established in the available reporting. “As soon as 2027” is a reported possibility, not a scheduled date, and the US$1 billion-plus figure is a target rather than completed proceeds.
How much could Kling raise, and what is the $15 billion figure?
The figures refer to two separate transactions and should not be conflated:
#1 Best Overall
| Figure | What it describes | Status |
|---|---|---|
| More than RMB 19 billion (reported as about US$2.80 billion) | Kling’s July 2026 financing | Reuters reported Kuaishou’s financing announcement on July 3, 2026. Reuters via Euronext |
| US$15 billion | Pre-money valuation associated with that financing | Reported by Reuters; it is not the amount raised or a post-money valuation. Reuters via Euronext |
| At least US$1 billion | Target for a possible Hong Kong IPO | Reported potential proceeds, not a completed offering. The Information, relaying Bloomberg |
The financing amount is capital raised in July; the pre-money valuation is the reported value of the company before that financing; the prospective IPO target is a separate, future amount. A US$15 billion pre-money valuation does not mean Kling raised US$15 billion, and it should not be presented as a post-money valuation.
What stake would Kuaishou retain?
The Information reported that Kuaishou would hold a 68.33% equity stake in Kling after completion of the July financing. That is a reported post-financing ownership figure, not a description of the terms or outcome of any future IPO. The Information’s financing report
