How much can you make at once?
The jug is listed at 1.2 litres, but that is not the recommended capacity for every use. Kleva recommends 800 ml for hot blending and 1,200 ml for cold blending. The hot capacity is the more relevant figure if you mainly want soup: it means a smaller batch than the headline jug volume might suggest. Follow the fill limits rather than treating the full jug size as suitable for hot ingredients.

Can the Mealio Blender really make hot soup from scratch?
Kleva markets Mealio for cooking and blending soup in one appliance, and says vegetables do not need to be precooked. The seller advertises soup preparation in about 30 minutes. Those claims make the all-in-one approach appealing if you want to add ingredients, select a program and avoid transferring hot food between a pot and blender. They are manufacturer claims rather than results from an independent test.
There is a recipe limitation to consider: the official listing warns against blending meat, and Mealio does not provide a sauté function. Some users commenting on ProductReview said they browned onions and garlic in a pan before using the appliance. Can you make cold smoothies and hot soups with the same appliance?

Is it easy to clean?
The official support instructions describe an auto-clean cycle, but the jar and lid must not be submerged or placed in a dishwasher because they contain electronic elements. The posted procedure uses warm water and a small amount of washing liquid, filled to no more than half the maximum capacity; secure the lid and centre cap, run Auto Cleaning, then unplug and rinse the jar. This is not a dishwasher-friendly jug, and the cleaning routine still involves rinsing afterward. For people who prioritise putting blender parts straight into a dishwasher, that is a meaningful drawback. Add liquid before other ingredients, as the support page advises, to reduce sticking.

- E01: The lid and jug sensors may not be aligned. Secure the lid clockwise and check that the sensor positions line up.
