Reddy reportedly said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had set a goal of making India drug-free by 2029. The 2029 date is a target attributed to Reddy, not a measured outcome or an independently verified policy commitment in the report.

He also announced plans for a Hyderabad padayatra in November and invited women across Telangana to take part. The report does not specify a date for the march or confirm that it later took place.
