That is a dated deal, not a confirmed live checkout price. Check KEEN’s current listing, available sizes and final price before ordering.
Which KEEN boot is in the deal?
The model is the KEEN Skokie Waterproof Work Boot, in black—not a generic tactical boot. The “tactical” wording appears in the Men’s Journal headline; the model name to use when checking listings is Skokie Waterproof Work Boot. KEEN’s men’s work-sale collection is relevant for checking the brand’s current sale selection, but a category page does not confirm this specific boot’s availability or price.
What price did the report give?
Men’s Journal’s October 3, 2026 article reported a $90 price against a stated $150 regular price, or $60 off (40%). The price and discount were reported by the publication; checkout was not independently confirmed, and stock, sizes and colorways may change. Verify the current product listing and the amount shown at checkout rather than assuming the reported deal remains available.
What features does the article report?
Men’s Journal describes a leather and synthetic-mesh upper with a waterproof membrane, a foam midsole with a nylon shank, and a rubber outsole. It lists the boot’s weight as 20.46 ounces and reports a DWR finish, outsole traction intended for oily or slippery surfaces, heat resistance up to 572°F, and resistance to electrical shocks.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Those are details reported by the shopping article, not independently verified manufacturer specifications in the available product information. In particular, do not treat the heat or electrical claims as proof of a workplace safety certification or as a substitute for checking the requirements of a specific job. Confirm safety designations and technical ratings with KEEN and the relevant worksite documentation before relying on them.
Is it worth $90?
It may be worth considering if the current price is near the reported $90 and the boot meets your needs for fit, wet-weather protection and the surfaces you encounter. The article says wide sizes were available when published, but availability can change; check the live size selection and confirm fit before buying. It also repeats customer descriptions such as “super comfortable” and “completely waterproof.” Those are individual opinions, not test results or a promise that the boot will suit every foot or keep water out in every condition.

How does it compare with the Merrell Moab 3 Tactical Response?
Men’s Journal compares the Skokie with Merrell’s Moab 3 Tactical Response and says the Merrell lacks oil-, slip- and heat-resistance. That comparison has not been independently confirmed here, so it should not decide a safety purchase. Compare both models using current documentation for workplace protections, waterproof construction, traction on your actual surfaces, heat and electrical hazards, fit and width, weight, price and warranty.
