Kai Cenat said during a September 30, 2026 livestream that he would sue streamer Reggie after Reggie made allegations involving Cenat and RaKai. Reporting through October 2 did not confirm that Cenat had filed a lawsuit. Reggie had said he was leaving the Clover Boys, but no formal breakup was confirmed either: the group’s future remains uncertain.
What happened between Kai Cenat and Reggie?
The public dispute followed Reggie’s announcement that he was leaving Clover Boys, a group Cenat had assembled and mentored. In an explanation reported by NDTV on September 26, Reggie said he felt left out.

In later videos and livestreams, Reggie made allegations concerning his own childhood, RaKai, and Cenat. These are claims made by Reggie, not established findings. Coverage reviewed by NDTV and TheGrio said the claims remained unverified; NDTV reported on October 1 that no proof had been produced by anyone involved in the accounts it reviewed.

Cenat responded on Twitch, denied the allegations, demanded evidence, and urged Reggie to take any evidence to law enforcement. As quoted by NDTV, Cenat said: “Where is your proof? Where is your proof, bro?” He also said he was suing Reggie.

Did Kai Cenat actually file a lawsuit?
A lawsuit filing was not confirmed in the reporting reviewed through October 2, 2026. NDTV’s October 1 account said no lawsuit had been filed and did not confirm that either man had contacted police. TheGrio likewise reported that no suit had been reported filed and no related criminal case announced as of October 1. Cenat’s statement on livestream is therefore a threat or announced intention to sue, not confirmation of a filed case. This is a dated summary of news coverage, not an independent court-docket search.
What did RaKai say?
On September 29, RaKai posted on X denying an earlier allegation about his childhood. As quoted by NDTV, he wrote: “I never got touched in any way growing up and not by my family or my friends.” He also asked people not to believe everything they read online.

That post addressed the earlier claim. NDTV reported on October 1 that RaKai had not addressed the newer September 30 allegation involving Cenat by the time of its report. His denial should not be read as a response to every later allegation.

Is Clover Boys breaking up?
Reggie said he was leaving, a significant public fracture in the group. But the coverage reviewed did not establish that Clover Boys formally disbanded or that every member ended their collaborations. A departure by one member is not, by itself, confirmation that the group is over.

What did Cenat say he spent on the group?
In statements reported by NDTV on October 2, Cenat claimed he had invested $3.7 million in Clover Boys and paid $30,000 per month for Reggie’s security. These are Cenat’s claims, not independently verified figures. NDTV said Cenat presented a spending sheet, but several expense names were not visible, and the total was not independently audited. The reported monthly security payment should likewise be understood as Cenat’s statement, not as a verified recurring expense.
