Reports place the start on the game’s current launch date, November 19, 2026. However, neither the complete list of games he supposedly plans to play beforehand nor the claim that fans are unhappy with that list has been verified from an original Kai post or stream clip.
What Kai Cenat has reportedly announced
Coverage from GTA BOOM describes Kai’s plan as a continuous GTA VI broadcast with a 100% completion goal. HobbyConsolas reports a planned start on November 19, 2026, the date Rockstar currently lists for the game. “Nonstop” describes the intended format, not a published timetable: no confirmed start hour, end time, staffing plan or stream schedule has been made available in the evidence currently attributable to Kai.

A 100% target could make the event substantially longer than a conventional launch stream. Story completion, side activities, collectibles and other completion requirements can vary in length, and Rockstar has not published a definitive completion-time estimate for GTA VI. The practical meaning of Kai’s announcement is therefore an endurance broadcast built around finishing the game rather than a fixed number of streaming hours.
When GTA VI launches and where viewers can play
Rockstar’s official customer-support product information lists GTA VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a launch date of November 19, 2026. Rockstar also states that the physical edition contains a download code rather than a game disc. Codes redeemed before launch begin pre-loading on November 12, allowing an eligible purchaser to have the game installed ahead of release while still waiting for the November 19 unlock.
#1 Best Overall
- This product contains a download code inside the box — no disc is included. Customer shipments will begin arriving November 12 for pre-load; game is playable starting November 19. Code can only be used by users holding an account for PlayStation registered to the US or Canada.
- Pre-order to receive the Vintage Vice City Pack.
- Grand Theft Auto VI is a single-player experience.

Rockstar’s Newswire archive records the move to November 19, 2026 and subsequent 2026 marketing and pre-order announcements. Availability, regional pricing, stock and the exact editions offered can change, so viewers buying the game to play along should check the retailer and platform storefront for their region.
Why an all-night—or multi-day—broadcast fits Kai’s channel
Kai has already demonstrated that he can sustain unusually long gaming events. Streams Charts reported that his 2024 Elden Ring stream ran for about 167 hours, generated 15.6 million hours watched and reached a peak of 290,000 viewers, with an average audience of 93,100. Those figures show why a GTA VI completion challenge is plausible as a channel format, but they do not prove that the upcoming event will match those hours or audience levels.

- STUNNING VISUALS — Enhanced levels of fidelity and performance with new graphics modes featuring up to 4K resolution, up to 60 frames per second, HDR options, ray tracing, improved texture quality, and more
- FASTER LOADING — Quicker access to the action as the world of Los Santos and Blaine County load in faster than ever before.
- ADAPTIVE TRIGGERS AND HAPTIC FEEDBACK — Feel every moment through the DualSense controller, from directional damage to weather effects, rough road surfaces to explosions, and more.
- TEMPEST 3D AUDIO — Hear the sounds of the world with pinpoint precision: the throttle of a stolen supercar, the rattle of neighbouring gunfire, the roar of a helicopter overhead, and more.
- Please note that although this game is Region Free or Region Unlocked and will work on all systems, this is the European version and may differ from the local version in age rating, labeling or instructions.
Other creators are also using long GTA broadcasts to build anticipation. Win.gg reported StableRonaldo’s scheduled August 21 GTA 5 stream in connection with the GTA VI hype cycle. That broader trend helps explain the appeal of a pre-release or launch marathon, while leaving Kai’s exact production plans unconfirmed.

The headline claim that fans are unhappy with Kai’s games list cannot currently be treated as a verified event. The available reporting does not establish which games Kai named before GTA VI, and it does not provide attributable comments—such as a directly identified post, interview or clip—showing a measurable fan backlash.

That means readers should not rely on circulating lists or anonymous reaction summaries as if they were Kai’s announcement. Until an original post or stream recording is located, the most accurate account is limited to the reported GTA VI marathon plan. The list, any order of earlier games and the scale of reaction remain unresolved.

Watching only
Follow Kai’s verified streaming accounts for a start-time announcement and schedule changes. A “100%” goal means the broadcast may continue beyond one day, pause for unavoidable breaks or change pace as completion requirements become clear; a single end time should not be assumed.

Playing on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S
- Confirm that your console is a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, the platforms Rockstar has listed.
- Choose a digital purchase or the physical edition. Rockstar says the physical package supplies a download code.
- Redeem the code before launch if you want to use the November 12 pre-load window.
- Install the pre-loaded game, then wait for the November 19 launch unlock before starting.
Choosing physical versus digital
- Physical edition: includes a download code, so it still requires an internet download and available storage; it should not be treated as a disc-based install.
- Digital edition: can be downloaded directly through the relevant console storefront, subject to that store’s regional terms and pre-load schedule.
Neither format changes the reported marathon start date. The choice mainly affects how you obtain the license and when you can begin downloading.
