K/DA is a virtual music group built from League of Legends champion personas. The original 2018 POP/STARS lineup is Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa. The 2020 ALL OUT era adds Seraphine as a newer guest artist and collaborator, so she belongs to the expanded cast but not to the original four founders.
This guide maps every named K/DA performer to her champion, explains each member’s role, separates the original and ALL OUT eras, and shows how the related skins are organized.

K/DA members at a glance
Each K/DA performer is a stylized music persona of an existing League of Legends champion. Their group jobs are part of the fictional band’s identity, while their champion identities connect the music videos, universe descriptions and in-game cosmetics.

| K/DA performer | League champion | Group role | Lineup status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ahri | Ahri | Leader, founder and main vocalist | Original member |
| Akali | Akali | Main rapper | Original member |
| Evelynn | Evelynn | Lead vocalist and co-founder | Original member |
| Kai’Sa | Kai’Sa | Main dancer and team choreographer | Original member |
| Seraphine | Seraphine | Guest artist, producer and songwriter | ALL OUT collaborator |
The names can look deceptively simple because each stage name is the same as the champion’s name. The important distinction is that “K/DA Ahri,” for example, means Ahri presented in the group’s music universe and visual style, not a separate champion.

How the K/DA lineup changed from POP/STARS to ALL OUT
The original four in 2018
The 2018 POP/STARS music-video release introduced four champion personas: Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa. These are the core members most readers mean when they ask for the “original K/DA members.” Ahri and Evelynn are described as the group’s founders, while Akali and Kai’Sa complete the original performing lineup.
The original quartet also establishes the group’s internal balance: Ahri provides leadership and a central vocal presence; Evelynn supplies another prominent vocal identity; Akali handles the rap-focused edge; and Kai’Sa anchors the dance and choreography side.
Seraphine in the 2020 ALL OUT era
The ALL OUT universe material expands the named cast to five by introducing Seraphine. It calls her “K/DA’s newest collaborator,” a vibrant young producer and songwriter. That wording matters: Seraphine is presented as a guest artist working with K/DA, rather than as one of the original four founders.

Ahri: K/DA’s leader and main vocalist
Champion identity
Ahri is the fox-like League of Legends champion represented by K/DA Ahri. Her champion identity supplies the visual starting point for the group’s polished, charismatic front-person persona.

Role in the group
Ahri is K/DA’s leader, founder and main vocalist. The official character description says: “As the leader, founder, and main vocalist of K/DA, Ahri graces the stage with confident charm.” Her combination of leadership and primary singing duties makes her the clearest center of the original lineup.
How to recognize her K/DA presence
- Look for the fox-like champion identity associated with Ahri.
- Expect a confident, polished stage presentation rather than the rap-first or dance-first role assigned to other members.
- In lineup discussions, treat Ahri as one of the two founders explicitly identified in the group’s character material.
Akali: the street-punk rapper
Champion identity
Akali is the ninja champion in League of Legends. K/DA’s interpretation retains that sense of agility and independence while translating it into a music persona with a street-punk visual direction.
Role in the group
Akali is K/DA’s main rapper. The official description characterizes her as having “street punk style with a brash, dangerous streak.” Her role is therefore not simply “another vocalist”: she is the member associated most directly with rap delivery and a rebellious creative attitude.
What makes her distinct
- Her champion identity is the ninja Akali.
- Her assigned performance function is main rapper.
- Her stage concept emphasizes street-punk styling, brashness and creative independence.
When identifying the original video lineup, Akali is one of the four names explicitly attached to the K/DA performers in POP/STARS.
Evelynn: lead vocalist and co-founder
Champion identity
Evelynn is the demon champion represented by K/DA Evelynn. The K/DA persona uses that identity to support a deliberately hypnotic, high-impact stage presence.

Role in the group
Evelynn is K/DA’s lead vocalist and a co-founder with Ahri. The official description says, “Evelynn is K/DA’s lead vocalist, wielding a hypnotic stage presence like no other.” This places her alongside Ahri as a principal vocal figure, while distinguishing her persona through a more dangerous and alluring performance style.
Her place in the original lineup
Evelynn is not a later addition. She belongs to the original four introduced in 2018 and is specifically identified as a co-founder. That founder status is one reason it is inaccurate to describe the entire five-character ALL OUT cast as if all five had occupied the same role from the beginning.
Kai’Sa: dancer and choreographer
Champion identity
Kai’Sa is the Void-themed marksman champion represented by K/DA Kai’Sa. Her K/DA presentation focuses less on vocal leadership and more on movement, precision and performance discipline.
Role in the group
Kai’Sa is the main dancer and team choreographer. The official wording states: “As the main dancer and team choreographer, Kai’Sa strives for perfection.” That role makes her responsible for the group’s coordinated movement as well as her own dance performance.
Performance traits
- Her champion identity is the Void-themed marksman Kai’Sa.
- Her primary group duties are dancing and choreography.
- Her persona is associated with intense focus and cosmopolitan influences.
Kai’Sa is one of the four performers in the original POP/STARS lineup, not a character added only for ALL OUT.

Seraphine: the ALL OUT guest artist
Champion identity
Seraphine is the singer-songwriter champion in League of Legends. In K/DA’s expanded universe, her identity is framed around songwriting and music production as much as on-stage performance.
Role in the group
Seraphine is described as a producer and songwriter who collaborates with K/DA. The official character text calls her “K/DA’s newest collaborator” and a “vibrant young producer and songwriter.” She is therefore a guest artist in the ALL OUT era, not one of Ahri and Evelynn’s original founding members.
Why the terminology causes confusion
Some summaries list five K/DA characters because the ALL OUT universe page stars Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai’Sa and Seraphine. Other summaries list four because they are referring specifically to the original POP/STARS lineup. The difference is an era and status distinction, not a disagreement about which champion Seraphine represents.

K/DA cosmetics follow the same timeline as the group’s fictional development. The catalog documented for these champions includes the original K/DA skins for Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa; later K/DA ALL OUT versions for those four champions; prestige variants; and three separate ALL OUT Seraphine forms.

| K/DA ALL OUT | Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa | Updated versions for the original four in the later era. |

| ALL OUT Seraphine forms | Indie, Rising Star and Superstar | Three named forms representing Seraphine’s progression within the collaboration. |
Standard, prestige and multi-form are different labels
A standard skin is the regular cosmetic release for a champion. A prestige variant is a distinct special edition of a related concept, not a new K/DA member. Seraphine’s Indie, Rising Star and Superstar releases are different forms tied to one ALL OUT collaboration, so they should not be counted as three separate champions or three separate band members.

How to compare two K/DA skins
- Check the era: determine whether the name belongs to the original K/DA release or the later ALL OUT period.
- Identify the champion: Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa have both original and ALL OUT versions documented; Seraphine’s listed K/DA forms are part of ALL OUT.
- Check the edition type: note whether the item is a standard release or a prestige variant.
- For Seraphine, check the form: Indie, Rising Star and Superstar are separate named forms within her ALL OUT presentation.
A simple timeline for the K/DA identities
- 2018: The POP/STARS release introduces Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa as the original four champion personas.
- 2020: The ALL OUT era documents an expanded cast that includes Seraphine as a guest artist and collaborator.
- Across both eras: Skins distinguish original K/DA designs, ALL OUT redesigns, prestige editions and Seraphine’s three named forms.
This timeline is the quickest way to resolve most lineup questions: start with the four-person 2018 group, then add Seraphine when discussing the 2020 ALL OUT cast.
Common questions about the members
Is Seraphine an original K/DA member?
No. Seraphine is part of the expanded ALL OUT cast as a guest artist and collaborator. The original members are Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai’Sa.
Are K/DA characters separate champions?
No. K/DA performers are music-universe personas of League of Legends champions. K/DA Ahri is still Ahri, K/DA Akali is still Akali, and so on; the K/DA name identifies the themed presentation or skin.

Who founded K/DA?
Ahri is described as a founder, and Evelynn is described as a co-founder with Ahri. Akali and Kai’Sa are original performers, but the cited character descriptions reserve the founder wording for Ahri and Evelynn.
Which member is the rapper?
Akali is the main rapper, with a street-punk style and a brash, dangerous streak.
Which member handles dance and choreography?
Kai’Sa is the main dancer and team choreographer, characterized by a drive for perfection.
Bottom line
The clean answer is four original members plus one later collaborator. Ahri is the leader, founder and main vocalist; Akali is the main rapper; Evelynn is the lead vocalist and co-founder; Kai’Sa is the main dancer and choreographer; and Seraphine is the ALL OUT guest artist, producer and songwriter. For skins, separate the original four-person K/DA releases from the later ALL OUT versions, then account for prestige editions and Seraphine’s Indie, Rising Star and Superstar forms.
