Start with Cross (†) for Justice’s hardest, most immediate sound, then move through Audio, Video, Disco, Woman and finally Hyperdrama. That route traces the duo from distorted French electro to cinematic rock, warm disco-soul and their current collaborative style. A compact sequence is: “Genesis” → “D.A.N.C.E.” → “Phantom” → “DVNO” → “Civilization” → “Audio Video Disco” → “New Lands” → “Helix” → “Safe and Sound” → “Randy” → “Love S.O.S.” → “Neverender” → “Generator” → “Dear Alan.”
Why Justice belongs on your GTA 6 pre-game playlist
Rockstar Games’ official Grand Theft Auto VI music page lists Justice as an “Official Score by Justice.” It also highlights the standalone single “Flower in a Hurricane,” credited to Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. That is the confirmed connection between the duo and GTA 6 at present. It does not establish that any other Justice song is in the game.

The same Rockstar page says Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album contains 34 original tracks and offers CD and vinyl editions. The announcement makes Justice’s catalog a useful way to hear the musical ideas that could make their score effective in Vice City and Leonida: hard-edged synthesizers, rock-scale arrangements, disco rhythm, dramatic strings and widescreen collaborations.

There is no need to treat this as a search for a single “GTA sound.” Justice have changed substantially from record to record. The best preparation is an intentional arc rather than a random playlist.

1. Cross (†): the essential starting point
Justice’s 2007 debut is the shortest path to the duo’s identity. France Music characterizes it as distorted, aggressive, melodic electronic rock, while Le Monde describes it as a high-energy debut and identifies “D.A.N.C.E.” as a signature 2007 hit that remains fixed in collective memory.
“Genesis” — enter at full voltage
“Genesis” works as an opening scene: a stark, ceremonial build that makes the record feel larger than a club track. Its compressed synths and deliberate pauses establish the contrast Justice use throughout Cross, moving between menace and melody.
“D.A.N.C.E.” — the hook that keeps the record human
The children’s-choir style vocal arrangement and instantly recognizable chorus provide a bright counterweight to the distorted production. Use it early if you want a familiar, singable entry point rather than starting with the most abrasive material.

“Phantom” pushes the electronic-rock idea toward weight and impact. It is the pick for a chase, combat or high-speed-driving mood, although it is still built around a clear melodic shape rather than pure noise.
“DVNO” — finish the first chapter in neon
“DVNO” supplies a more theatrical, dance-floor finish. Placing it after “Phantom” makes Cross feel like a complete mini-set: introduction, chorus, aggression and release.

2. Audio, Video, Disco: the road-trip and action set
Released in 2011, Audio, Video, Disco is lighter, more rock-oriented and more progressive than Cross. France Music highlights “Civilization,” “Audio Video Disco,” “New Lands” and “Helix”; Le Monde describes the direction as epic, cinematic and inspired by the 1970s.
“Civilization” — broad horizons
“Civilization” expands Justice’s palette with a scale that feels suited to a long drive or an opening montage. It keeps the duo’s electronic precision but frames it with a bigger, more anthemic sense of movement.

The title track makes the album’s rock influence explicit. Listen for the way riff-like figures and electronic sequencing share the same forward motion instead of behaving like separate layers.
“New Lands” — sustained momentum
“New Lands” is the most natural choice when you want a road-trip pulse. It has enough melodic shape to remain memorable while maintaining the sensation of constant travel.
“Helix” — the instrumental rush
Use “Helix” when you want the harder, largely instrumental side of this era. It restores some of Cross’s physical impact without abandoning the larger, more cinematic frame.

3. Woman: the warm, groove-led reset
Woman (2016) is the emotional reset in this listening route. France Music calls it Justice’s most romantic and fully realized record, emphasizing dramatic strings, clavinet funk and a mature emotional palette. Le Monde summarizes its direction as soul-influenced.

“Safe and Sound” — uplift without losing detail
“Safe and Sound” is the best first taste of Woman because it combines a welcoming vocal presence with carefully layered production. After the scale and attack of Audio, Video, Disco, its groove feels warmer rather than simply quieter.
“Randy” — polished funk
“Randy” brings a glossy, tightly arranged groove. It is useful in a pre-game playlist when you want movement that feels stylish and controlled rather than aggressive.
“Love S.O.S.” — the sentimental center
“Love S.O.S.” is the most openly sentimental selection in this guide. The dramatic arrangement shows why Woman matters to the GTA 6 lead-in: Justice can make electronic music feel romantic and cinematic at the same time.
“Alakazam!” — an optional extra burst
If you want one more Woman track, add “Alakazam!” after “Love S.O.S.” Its sharper energy keeps the album from ending in pure ballad mode.

4. Hyperdrama: the current bridge to GTA 6
Hyperdrama is Justice’s fourth studio album, released in 2024. France Music highlights “Neverender,” “Generator,” “Dear Alan” and “The End.” Its collaborative and cinematic character makes it the natural final stop before GTA 6, particularly because Rockstar has confirmed Justice’s official score role.
“Neverender” — the vocal-led entry point
“Neverender” introduces the album through a strong vocal focus. It is the easiest Hyperdrama track to place after Woman because it preserves emotional immediacy while presenting a newer, wider production style.
“Generator” — propulsion for the modern era
“Generator” is the functional adrenaline track in this section. Its title and machine-like drive make it a good choice for a final pre-game push, especially after the more reflective moments on Woman.
“Dear Alan” — the comedown
“Dear Alan” gives the sequence room to breathe. Its reflective tone is a useful reminder that Justice’s current mode is not only about impact; it also uses space, atmosphere and collaboration to create scale.
“The End” — complete the album if you have time
For a fuller Hyperdrama preview, continue with “The End.” The track belongs to the album’s highlighted group and extends the record’s widescreen, contemporary mood beyond the three-song sampler.

Choose a route based on the time you have
Twenty-minute sampler
Play “Genesis,” “D.A.N.C.E.,” “Civilization,” “New Lands,” “Safe and Sound,” “Neverender” and “Generator.” This compact set covers all four eras and moves from hard-edged introduction to current, collaborative momentum.
Full pre-game arc
Listen to the albums in release order: Cross (†) → Audio, Video, Disco → Woman → Hyperdrama. This is the best option if you want to hear how Justice’s arrangements, textures and emotional range changed rather than simply collecting the most recognizable tracks.
One-album choice
Choose Cross (†) for the iconic introduction: it contains “Genesis,” “D.A.N.C.E.,” “Phantom” and “DVNO,” the clearest statement of the duo’s original sound. Choose Hyperdrama if your priority is the most direct connection to Justice’s current GTA 6 work and collaborative, cinematic approach.

That depends on the scene you imagine. “Phantom,” “Helix” and “Generator” suit pursuit or combat because their rhythms feel forceful and continuous. “Civilization” and “New Lands” fit driving and travel because they emphasize scale and forward motion. “DVNO,” “Randy” and “Safe and Sound” are better for nightlife, while “Love S.O.S.” and “Dear Alan” provide the reflective side of a city-at-night sequence.
These are mood matches, not claims that the songs appear in GTA 6. Rockstar has confirmed Justice’s official score role and “Flower in a Hurricane,” but has not announced that the other tracks listed here are in the game.
Physical editions and listening setup
The official Justice store lists physical editions of Cross (†), Hyperdrama, Audio, Video, Disco, Woman, Access All Arenas and Woman Worldwide. Rockstar’s official page and store identify CD and vinyl editions of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. Edition availability, regional stock and prices can change, so verify the current listing before ordering.
For a first listen, use the album sequence rather than shuffle. Justice’s records rely on contrast: distortion followed by melody, rock scale followed by groove, and propulsion followed by space. Headphones make the layered synths, strings and vocal treatments easier to distinguish; speakers at a moderate level better convey the physical low-end impact of Cross and Hyperdrama.
What to expect before GTA 6
Justice’s catalog offers four different preparation moods rather than one definitive playlist. Cross supplies the aggressive signature, Audio, Video, Disco adds road-trip and arena scale, Woman introduces warmth and soul, and Hyperdrama connects that history to the duo’s present-day collaborative sound. Hearing them in that order gives you the broadest context for Rockstar’s decision to credit Justice on the official score.
