Just Dance: Decades of Hits is a standalone game with a themed set of music, worlds and modes. Just Dance+ is a separate paid subscription that adds an evolving song catalog to compatible Just Dance editions. They are not interchangeable: choose the game for its specific decade-themed experience, or consider Just Dance+ for extra songs in a supported edition.
What’s included in Just Dance: Decades of Hits?
Ubisoft describes Just Dance: Decades of Hits as a standalone experience covering music from the 1970s through the 2020s, arranged into six decade-inspired worlds. The publisher highlights these example tracks:

Platforms and release timing
Ubisoft’s September 10, 2026 launch announcement names Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It gives October 13, 2026 as the launch date, with Nintendo Switch 2 retail availability listed for November 10, 2026. The announcement names Amazon, Walmart, Target and Best Buy as Nintendo Switch retail options; it does not establish local stock or a price. Check the current listing for your region and platform. What does a Just Dance+ subscription include?
Just Dance+ is a streaming service that adds an evolving catalog of songs, including bonus tracks not in the main game, as well as map drops. It works through Just Dance 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 Editions on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Ubisoft. A subscription is not a permanent unlock of every song: licensing changes can affect what remains available. Ubisoft explains that “Every song available in the service relies on licensing agreements that evolve over time, and these conditions directly affect what we can keep, renew, or add to the catalogue.” Ubisoft’s 2026 service update.
Ubisoft says access requires a Ubisoft account, a console account, persistent internet access and payment. Territorial and age restrictions may apply. Its platform information is available on Ubisoft’s support page.

US subscription prices
Ubisoft’s service page lists the following US prices. They replaced earlier prices on April 27, 2026, according to the company’s January 27 update.

Ubisoft says Just Dance 2026 Edition includes a limited-time free trial, but the available information does not establish that Decades of Hits includes a trial or specify its duration. Confirm the offer on the relevant game listing before counting on subscription time being included.

Are the songs on Just Dance+ the same as the game’s songs?
No complete, stable song-by-song comparison is established. Decades of Hits has its own decade-themed content, while Just Dance+ has a catalog that can change as licenses change. Ubisoft said songs from the 2023 and 2024 editions would return to Just Dance+ in batches during 2026, with most original tracks planned for addition and a limited number excluded for licensing reasons. The update named “360” by Charli XCX as a planned new map. Plans and catalog availability can change, so check the in-game listing for a specific song rather than assuming an older track is included. In practical terms, buy Decades of Hits for its own theme and modes; consider Just Dance+ if you already use a compatible edition and want additional tracks. The subscription’s value depends on the songs currently available and how long you plan to use it.
