For the beginner SSR selection covered by JojoGS.DEV’s guide updated August 16, 2026, choose Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli for the broadest standalone pick. Choose Koichi Hirose if you want AoE damage and immobilization and can pair him with a fast-attacking ally; choose Mohammed Avdol for multi-target damage on a Burn-focused team. Those are the guide’s evaluations, not independently tested rankings. Rerolling is optional: a useful starting roster and a plan for later selectors may be a better use of time than repeatedly restarting for one character.
Which SSR should you choose?
Match the pick to the role your roster needs. A character who fills a gap can contribute more to your account than a higher-sounding tier label.

| Character | Best fit | What the cited guide says |
|---|---|---|
| Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli | Broad damage option | JojoGS.DEV’s beginner-banner guide, updated August 16, 2026, describes his sustained ranged basic attacks as useful in story, World Boss, and PvP. It names him the broadest beginner pick. Source |
| Koichi Hirose | AoE damage and control | The guide describes his field as damaging and immobilizing enemies, with added value alongside a fast-attacking teammate. Source |
| Mohammed Avdol | Multi-target, Burn-oriented team | The guide frames him as a more situational choice for multi-target damage and Burn-focused play. Source |
| Giorno Giovanna | Healing and duplicate-based support | JojoGS.DEV’s selector-priority guide, dated August 20, 2026, highlights a Giorno duplicate as an especially valuable early selector choice because it unlocks a support capability; it also identifies him as a healer. This is selector advice, not a recommendation to reroll for him. Source |
Use the first three names to make the beginner-selection decision described in the banner guide; consider Giorno when planning a later selector. The available options and their effects can change, so inspect the current selection screen before committing.
Is rerolling worth your time?
Rerolling means starting an account, making the available opening summons, checking the roster, and repeating the process if the result does not suit your plans. BlueStacks outlines that general loop, but cautions that opening pull counts depend on rewards and banners active at the time. Do not rely on an older guide’s fixed number of free summons. JojoGS.DEV’s August 11, 2026 reroll guide argues that one SSR is only the beginning of character investment: duplicates and ability shards matter over time, and permanent-pool selectors offer a progression path beyond the opening pulls. That makes a practical stopping rule more useful than chasing a perfect start.
- Keep the account if the character covers a needed role or you already have useful team synergy.
- Consider another attempt if the roster does not fit your preferred team and you are comfortable spending more time on uncertain opening results.
- Stop rather than chase one SSR indefinitely. There is no independent dataset here establishing reroll odds, average attempts, or the time required to obtain a particular character.
JojoGS.DEV reports that guest accounts exist, but account reset and binding steps are not verified here by official instructions. Use the game’s current account controls and read their prompts carefully before resetting or linking an account. JojoGS.DEV reroll guide

How to reroll without relying on outdated pull counts
- Start an account and complete the tutorial.
- Claim the beginner rewards currently available to that account.
- Check the live recruitment screens, their rates, guarantees, and eligible pools before using summons.
- Make the available pulls, then assess the roster by role coverage and team fit—not simply by whether it contains an SSR.
- If you decide to restart, follow the game’s current account controls. The sources do not establish an official reset or binding procedure.
The number of summons you can make at this point varies with active rewards and banners; no fixed opening pull count is established. The Google Play listing describes story stages, World Boss battles, and ranked PvP, and identifies the game as an officially licensed mobile title published on the listing by Wanda Cinemas Games. It does not confirm third-party character rankings or summon rates. Google Play listing

Character recruitment and Standard Ability recruitment serve different purposes. JojoGS.DEV’s reroll guide says the character pool provides the unit, while the ability pool provides Image Ability shards used to unlock or improve signature moves. An opening character pull and long-term ability progression are therefore separate goals. JojoGS.DEV reroll guide
The August 20, 2026 selector guide lists these ten characters in the Standard Character selector: Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli, Mohammed Avdol, Koichi Hirose, Giorno Giovanna, Bruno Bucciarati, Prosciutto, Diavolo, Cioccolata, F.F., and Ermes Costello. Treat that as a dated list and check the current selector interface for its actual options. JojoGS.DEV selector-priority guide
The same guide prioritizes Giorno’s duplicate for an early selector because of its support capability. That recommendation concerns spending a selector, while Caesar is the broad beginner pick in the separate August 16 beginner-banner guide. Decide based on the selector you actually have and which role your roster lacks.
