Jodogahama Beach is on the southeast side of the Irokawa Space Center in southern Nangan. The beach has no named-landmark marker, so use the space center, the shoreline and the large offshore rock formations to identify it. To finish the Slice of Life challenge, take a Photo Mode picture with any Mazda visible in the frame. The October 15, 2026 Autumn Festival Playlist awards 2 points and the Relax emote.
Where to find Jodogahama Beach
Open the World Map and move the cursor to the Irokawa Space Center, the rocket and space-station landmark in southern Nangan. Jodogahama Beach is southeast of the space center. Because the game does not label the beach as a named landmark, a direct search for “Jodogahama” may not produce a map pin.

Use the large rock formations offshore as the most useful visual confirmation. Drive from a nearby road or trail onto the sand, then follow the shoreline toward the section beside those rocks. The whole beach can work for the objective, but the area near the rocks provides an easy composition and a clear way to confirm that you are in the intended location.

- Fast travel: If you have already discovered a nearby road or trail, fast-travel there and drive the remaining distance across the shoreline access.
- Drive from the space center: Set a route to the Irokawa Space Center, then continue southeast until you reach the beach. This is the simplest option when no nearby fast-travel point is available.
How to complete the Slice of Life photo challenge
- Open the World Map. Locate the Irokawa Space Center in southern Nangan and head southeast to the unmarked beach.
- Reach the sand. Move toward the section beside the offshore rock formations. Stop where you have enough room to position the car and frame the rocks.
- Select any Mazda. The requirement checks the vehicle brand, not a particular model, class or performance rating. Change cars before taking the picture if your current vehicle is from another manufacturer.
- Enter Photo Mode. Hold Up on the D-pad.
- Frame the shot. Keep the Mazda clearly inside the camera view, with the Jodogahama shoreline or offshore rocks helping establish the location.
- Take the photo. Press RB. The challenge should register after the game validates the beach location, Mazda brand and visible vehicle.

You do not need a specific Mazda model, a special tuning setup or a particular weather condition. The important combination is the correct beach, a Mazda and a photo in which the Mazda is visible.

Reward for the challenge
The Autumn Festival Playlist listing dated October 15, 2026 gives the objective a reward of 2 Horizon Meets/Festival Playlist points plus the Relax emote. The points count toward the playlist, while the emote becomes available as a character expression after the challenge is credited.
If the challenge does not register
Check the vehicle brand
Open the car selection screen and verify that the manufacturer is Mazda. A visually similar car from another Japanese manufacturer will not satisfy a brand-specific objective.

Move farther onto the beach
Being near the space center or on an access road may not count as Jodogahama. Drive onto the sand and reposition near the offshore rocks before reopening Photo Mode.

Make the Mazda unmistakable in the frame
If the car is partly outside the camera view, move the camera back or rotate it until the entire vehicle is visible. Retake the image with the rocks or shoreline included as a location reference.

Reopen Photo Mode and capture again
Hold Up on the D-pad to leave and re-enter Photo Mode, then press RB for a fresh shot. If you changed cars while parked, make sure the Mazda is the active vehicle before capturing.

The World Map unlocks during early progression. The Festival Playlist becomes available after you earn the first Wristband. If the Irokawa Space Center is unfamiliar or the playlist is missing, continue the story until the purple-wristband event takes you to that part of Nangan, then return to the map and start the objective.
