JGINYUE is reported to have launched a PCIe add-in card built around AMD’s B650 chipset, adding four M.2 positions, USB ports and 2.5 GbE through a single PCIe 4.0 x4 connection. The reported price is 388 RMB—about $58—but that is a China-market figure, and availability outside China had not been confirmed in VideoCardz’s report.
What the JGINYUE B650 card adds
The card uses AMD’s B650 Promontory 21 chipset as an expansion controller. Reports describe four M.2 positions alongside additional USB and network connectivity. WCCFtech lists a 10 Gbps USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports and 2.5 GbE. These are reported specifications, not results from an independent test of the JGINYUE card.

It connects to the host through PCIe 4.0 x4. The B650 chipset is reported to handle the attached devices, so the card does not depend on the motherboard’s PCIe bifurcation support to split the host slot’s lanes among the M.2 sockets.
Four M.2 sockets do not mean four separate x4 links
All devices on the card ultimately share its PCIe 4.0 x4 connection to the computer. The four sockets provide places to install drives, but do not give each drive its own dedicated x4 path to the host. If several drives transfer data at once, their traffic shares the upstream link.
#1 Best Overall
- NVMe M-KEY DRIVES ONLY, NOT SATA: This card takes M.2 M-key NVMe SSDs in the 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths, plus older B+M key PCIe (AHCI/NVMe) drives. It does NOT support SATA M.2 drives — if your drive says SATA on the label, it will not work here. Your motherboard also has to be NVMe-capable to boot or see the drive.
- GEN5 SPEED COMES FROM YOUR SLOT: The card connects at x4 and supports up to PCIe 5.0, for up to 16GBps bidirectional when the host slot is Gen5. In a Gen4 or Gen3 slot it runs at that slot's speed, not Gen5 — the card cannot add a generation your motherboard doesn't have. Check your slot generation before you buy if Gen5 throughput is the goal.
- ONE DRIVE, x16 CONNECTOR, NO BIFURCATION NEEDED: This is a single M.2 card with an x16 physical edge for stability, and it may fit some x4/x8 slots. Because it uses one drive it does not need motherboard bifurcation support. Confirm you have a free full-length PCIe slot and clearance around it — a tall CPU cooler, GPU or fan sitting over the slot can block the card.
- TOOL-FREE INSTALL, NO SCREWS: Drop the SSD in and lock it down without hunting for a tiny M.2 screw or a screwdriver. Nothing to lose, nothing to strip, and the drive comes back out just as fast when you want to move it to another machine.
- COOL AND QUIET, NO FAN: A built-in aluminum heatsink and thermal padding keep the SSD's temperature down under sustained load with no active cooling, so there is no extra fan noise in the case. It is SABRENT — register your product on the manufacturer's website for technical support.
Phoronix’s review of the separate Lekuo SouthBridge Max PB65MX3 describes that card’s interfaces sharing PCIe 4.0 x4 bandwidth. This is useful context for how a B650 expansion card can aggregate devices, but it is not a performance test of JGINYUE’s model.
Power and cooling details
VideoCardz reports a 6-pin PCIe auxiliary power connector and says JGINYUE recommends connecting it, particularly when all four M.2 positions are populated. The card also reportedly has mounting points and a header for an optional 40 mm fan. The fan is not included, and the reported header does not provide speed control.

What to check before buying
- Local stock and price: Verify that a seller ships to your region and confirm the checkout price. The reported $58 conversion does not establish a local retail price or actual availability.
- Host slot: Check that your motherboard has a suitable PCIe slot with a PCIe 4.0 x4 connection available to the card. The card’s four M.2 sockets do not eliminate the shared upstream bandwidth limit.
- Drive use: Decide whether the goal is simply to attach several drives or to sustain simultaneous high-throughput transfers. The reported x4 host link is shared by devices on the card.
- Power and clearance: Check for the required 6-pin PCIe power connection and room for the card and any optional fan you might install.
- Operating-system support: The cited reporting does not establish JGINYUE-specific compatibility across Windows, Linux or macOS, nor universal compatibility with all motherboards. Do not treat another manufacturer’s card review as proof for this model.
- Exact configuration: Confirm the USB ports and other features of the specific listing. The 20 Gbps USB-C version was reported as announced for a later date, not as a confirmed feature of the currently selling configuration.
