JBL says you can use any connected microphone, so the feature does not require buying its EasySing Mics. The separation quality has not been independently evaluated across songs.
How the PartyBox Ultimate 2’s AI karaoke works
JBL describes EasySing as a way to dial the original lead vocals down by a user-selected amount while retaining backing vocals. Because the speaker works with streamed songs rather than a limited karaoke catalog, the idea is to sing along to music you already play. The description is JBL’s claim; it does not establish that vocal removal will sound equally clean on every recording.

The speaker’s built-in feature is distinct from JBL’s EasySing microphone accessories. JBL says the Ultimate 2 can use any connected microphone, so its vocal-removal feature does not depend on the separately sold EasySing Mics.

What JBL says the speaker offers
- Power: JBL specifies 1,500W for the Ultimate 2. In its October 1, 2026 European announcement, the company said that was more than 36% greater output than the previous generation. Both are manufacturer figures, not independent measurements.
- Drivers and controls: JBL lists dual 10-inch woofers and a touchscreen control panel.
- Coverage claim: JBL says the speaker can fill a space the size of four basketball courts. That is the company’s analogy, not an independently validated coverage measurement.
These specifications indicate how JBL positions the Ultimate 2: a large, high-output party speaker with karaoke processing built in. They do not substitute for independent sound testing.

- All the superior Original JBL Pro Sound you can handle
- The JBL PartyBox Ultimate can cover a massive space—we're talking two basketball courts—with superior Original JBL Pro Sound. Featuring two drivers and mid range speaker to deliver louder sound. Dual tweeters and a pair of subwoofers means there's going to be more than enough bass for even the most dedicated fans, while Dolby Atmos provides immersive 3D spatial effects. When EasySing Mics are useful—and when they are not
EasySing Mics are a separate add-on: a pair of wireless microphones with karaoke processing for listed compatible speakers. HARMAN’s March 12, 2026 US announcement listed them at $199.95 per pair. The feature set includes selectable reduction of original-track vocals to 25%, 50%, or 0%, plus Voice Boost, reverb, echo, and noise suppression. HARMAN stated up to 10 hours of battery life and a 30-meter wireless range. These are manufacturer specifications, and the stated price and availability may have changed.

Its March 2026 announcement lists it for Go 5, Grip, Flip 7, Charge 6, Xtreme 5, Boombox 4, and all PartyBox models through Aux; the Aux cable is not included. Which other PartyBox models have built-in vocal removal?
EasySing compatibility does not automatically mean a speaker has built-in AI vocal removal. HARMAN’s October 5, 2026 India announcement distinguishes models with the feature from models that work with EasySing microphones:
| India-market model(s) | What HARMAN says |
|---|---|
| PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus and Encore 2 Plus | Listed with EasySing AI vocal removal. |
| PartyBox 330 and 130 | Listed with AI Sound Boost and EasySing microphone compatibility; those claims are not the same as built-in AI vocal removal. |
| PartyBox 720 | HARMAN explicitly says it does not have AI vocal removal. |
This is an India-specific lineup announcement, not a universal specification list for every market or regional variant. Confirm the feature on the local product page for the exact model.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- Superior JBL Pro Sound: We’re cranking out 800 watts of JBL Pro Sound—loud, clean, and full of deep bass from those two massive 9” woofers. The tweeters keep the highs crisp and clear, so every track hits just right and the dance floor stays packed.
- Futuristic lightshow: Mix all that epic sound with a lightshow to match—vibrant stars, flowing trails, and strobes that move with the beat. It’s a full-on vibe.
- Up to 15 hours playtime: Keep the music going for up to 15 hours on a single charge. Need more juice? Swap in the backup batteries (sold separately) and keep it moving. Just need a quick boost? A 10-minute fast charge gets you up to 2 extra hours of playtime.
- Ergonomic integrated handle and wider sturdy wheels: Taking the party outside just got easier—wider wheels roll smooth on rough ground, and the built-in handle makes it easy to grab and go.

What to check before buying for karaoke
- If you want karaoke built into the speaker: verify that the exact model is described as having AI vocal removal. For the Ultimate 2, JBL says the feature is built in and works with any connected microphone.
- If you already own a PartyBox: check whether it is on the EasySing Mics compatibility list, and confirm the microphone connection and regional availability before ordering.
- If vocal quality matters: keep expectations practical. JBL describes lead-vocal reduction and retained backing vocals, but no independent cross-song evaluation or latency measurement is established here.
