Where is the PartyBox 720 available, and how much does it cost?
HARMAN’s October 5, 2026 India announcement lists the JBL PartyBox 720 at an MRP of ₹99,999 and says the range is available through in.jbl.com and leading retail and e-commerce platforms. That is the announced India price and availability statement; retailer stock and selling prices can change. The announcement concerns an expansion of JBL’s PartyBox range in India and does not identify other countries newly receiving the 720.

The product first appeared in the US in September 2025. HARMAN then announced a $1,099 presale price and a planned wide release on September 21, 2025. That figure is historical launch pricing, not a current US or India price.
What does 800 W RMS mean for the 720?
HARMAN’s India announcement gives the speaker an output rating of 800 W RMS. JBL’s US specification page also lists 800 W RMS under IEC60268. These are manufacturer-published ratings, not an independent measurement of how loud the speaker will sound in a particular room or outdoors.

How portable is it, and how long does the battery last?
HARMAN claims up to 15 hours of battery playtime. Actual runtime can vary with volume, music, lighting, and other use conditions. JBL lists a net weight of 31 kg on its US product page, so the built-in wheels and ergonomic handle help with moving the speaker but do not make it lightweight. The listed IPX4 rating indicates splash protection; it is not a claim that the speaker is waterproof or suitable for submersion.

Does the PartyBox 720 include batteries?
The package contents are not established for the India model. HARMAN’s 2025 US launch announcement said two Battery 600 packs were included, while JBL’s current product description says spare batteries are sold separately and an official spec sheet labels a configuration “Battery Not Included.” Those statements do not confirm what an Indian retail unit contains.
Before buying, check the exact India product listing or ask the seller to confirm whether batteries are included and how many. JBL lists the Battery 600 Duo as compatible with the 720, but that accessory information should not be mistaken for confirmation that the packs come in the box.

What connections and speaker pairing does it support?
The 720 has two XLR inputs for microphones, a guitar, or a DJ console. It supports Auracast multi-speaker linking, and JBL says two PartyBox 720 speakers can be paired for stereo. Check compatibility and setup details for any other speaker before planning a multi-model system.
HARMAN’s India announcement discusses EasySing microphones for compatible PartyBox models but does not explicitly establish compatibility with the 720. If karaoke is the goal, verify the specific microphone model’s compatibility with the 720 rather than assuming that every PartyBox accessory works with it.

Who should consider the PartyBox 720?
Its published features point to buyers who want a high-output party speaker with wheels, battery operation, splash protection, XLR inputs, and the option to link speakers. The 31 kg listed weight and unresolved India battery package contents matter if frequent carrying or out-of-box cordless use is essential. The available specifications alone do not show how its sound compares with alternatives.
