JBL’s PartyBox 720 is the flagship of a six-speaker PartyBox launch in India. It is rated at 800 W RMS, has two XLR inputs and wheels, and carries a launch MRP of ₹99,999. JBL India’s product page displayed it at ₹89,999, inclusive of taxes, on 7 October 2026; that is a live price, not a replacement for the announced MRP.
What the JBL PartyBox 720 offers
The 720 is aimed at larger gatherings and setups where a speaker may also need to handle live microphones, an instrument or DJ equipment. JBL and HARMAN list these specifications and features:

- Output: 800 W RMS, according to HARMAN’s 5 October 2026 launch announcement.
- Drivers: two 9-inch woofers and two 30 mm dome tweeters.
- Inputs: two XLR inputs for microphones, guitar or a DJ console.
- Mobility: wheels and an ergonomic handle. JBL lists the speaker at 31 kg, so the wheels help move it but do not make it a lightweight portable speaker.
- Connections and protection: Auracast multi-speaker connection and an IPX4 splashproof rating.
- Battery: up to 15 hours of playtime, a manufacturer maximum claim rather than an independently measured runtime. JBL specifies two JBL Battery 600 lithium-ion packs; spare batteries are sold separately, so do not assume additional packs come with the speaker.
- Frequency response: 32 Hz–20 kHz, as listed on JBL India’s product page.
These are manufacturer specifications, not independent listening or battery-test results. The 720 does not have EasySing AI Vocal Removal; that feature is listed for selected Plus models in the lineup.
PartyBox 720 price in India: MRP and displayed price
HARMAN’s India announcement on 5 October 2026 set the PartyBox 720’s MRP at ₹99,999 and said the lineup was available through in.jbl.com and leading retail and e-commerce platforms. On 7 October, JBL India’s product page displayed a price of ₹89,999 inclusive of taxes against the same ₹99,999 MRP—a ₹10,000 reduction from MRP at the time observed. Retailer pricing, discounts and stock can change.

HARMAN says the 330 and 130 also include USB-C lossless audio, Auracast and dual mic/guitar inputs. Their lower output and different handles make them alternatives for buyers who do not need the 720’s 800 W RMS rating or dual XLR connections.

Choose the 720 for larger setups and XLR sources
The 720 is the lineup’s highest-output model and the one that explicitly lists two XLR inputs. Those connections may matter if you want to attach microphones, a guitar or a DJ console; its wheels and handle are intended to help move its 31 kg body. The higher MRP is harder to justify if you do not need the output, XLR inputs or wheeled format.

Consider the 330 or 130 for a lower price and TV input
The 330 costs ₹35,000 less than the 720 at launch MRP and is rated at 280 W RMS, with up to 18 hours of claimed playtime, wheels and a telescopic handle. The 130 is rated at 200 W RMS and has a foldable handle. Both list optical TV input and dual mic/guitar inputs, making them options to compare if TV connection and occasional microphones matter more than the 720’s higher output and XLR inputs.
Look at the 100 W models for carried karaoke
The On-The-Go 2 models add a shoulder strap and handle; the On-The-Go 2 Plus and Encore 2 Plus include one EasySing mic and list AI Vocal Removal. The less expensive On-The-Go 2 includes one wireless microphone but does not list AI Vocal Removal. The Encore 2 Plus has a grab-and-go handle rather than the shoulder strap. These models offer a different portability and karaoke emphasis, not the output rating of the 720.

What EasySing adds—and what it does not
EasySing AI Vocal Removal is listed for the On-The-Go 2 Plus and Encore 2 Plus, not the PartyBox 720 or On-The-Go 2. HARMAN describes its standalone EasySing Mics as a pair with real-time vocal removal, Voice Boost, reverb, echo control and noise suppression, plus up to 10 hours of battery life and a 30 m wireless range. Those are manufacturer claims. The 720 can still take microphones through its XLR inputs; that is a separate capability from AI vocal removal.

Availability and what the launch claim establishes
HARMAN said on 5 October 2026 that all six models were available at in.jbl.com and through leading retail and e-commerce platforms. That announcement does not establish current stock at every seller. HARMAN also described JBL as “India’s No. 1* Party Speaker Brand,” attributing the asterisk to Futuresource Consulting 2025 data; the release did not provide a market-share figure or methodology, so the statement should not be read as a published numerical share.
