JBL has introduced the PartyBox 720, 330 and 130 in India, alongside new On The Go 2 and Encore 2 variants. The headline model, PartyBox 720, is listed on JBL India at ₹89,999 including taxes, against an MRP of ₹99,999; its manufacturer-listed specification includes 800 W RMS output, dual 9-inch woofers and up to 15 hours of music playback.
JBL PartyBox launch in India: models and prices
HARMAN announced the range in India on October 5, 2026. Its release says the products are available at JBL India and through leading retail and e-commerce platforms. Announced MRPs are not necessarily the prices customers will pay; JBL’s displayed prices can change.

HARMAN’s release gives the MRPs; JBL India’s catalog displays the prices for the models where shown. The 720 page listed ₹89,999 including taxes, while the catalog listed ₹54,999 for the 330, ₹39,999 for the 130 and ₹31,999 for the Encore 2 Plus. These are page prices checked on October 7, 2026, not guaranteed future offers. The release names an Encore 2 AI Plus, whereas the MRP list says Encore 2 Plus; check the current product listing for the exact variant name before buying.
PartyBox 720 specifications
The 720 is the largest-output new model in this launch. JBL specifies 800 W RMS under IEC60268, with two 9-inch (243 mm) woofers and two 1.25-inch (30 mm) dome tweeters. Its stated frequency response is 32 Hz–20 kHz, and dimensions are 41.6 × 94.2 × 40.6 cm. JBL lists its weight as 31 kg.

Battery and charging
JBL claims up to 15 hours of music playback, a maximum figure that depends on use rather than a guaranteed runtime in every situation. The listed charge time is three hours. JBL also says a 10-minute quick charge can add up to two hours of playback. The batteries are swappable, but replacement batteries are sold separately.
Inputs and splash protection
The two XLR inputs can be used for microphones, a guitar or a DJ console. IPX4 means splash protection; it does not make the speaker waterproof or suitable for submersion. Auracast supports connecting compatible speakers, while Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C and app control cover other playback and control options.

HARMAN’s launch release gives these output and feature distinctions. Wattage is not a direct measure of perceived loudness or sound quality, and the figures below are manufacturer specifications rather than independent listening-test results.

HARMAN also announced standalone EasySing Mics and an Encore 2 AI Plus in its India launch release. It listed the Encore 2 Plus at an MRP of ₹39,999, while the JBL catalog displayed ₹31,999 for Encore 2 Plus. The available launch details do not provide a comparable output, battery or connection specification for that Encore variant.

Which PartyBox should you consider?
- For the highest stated output: the 720 has the highest RMS rating among the new models listed here, but is also 31 kg. Consider its size, carrying needs and the availability of power or battery charging as well as the wattage.
- For easier rolling transport and longer claimed playback: HARMAN describes the 330 with wheels and a telescopic locking handle and claims up to 18 hours. Its optical TV input and mic/guitar inputs may also suit a setup used for more than music.
- For a smaller model in the announced full-size range: the 130 has 200 W RMS, a foldable handle and up to 15 hours of playback according to HARMAN.
- For a microphone included and karaoke-oriented processing: the On The Go 2 AI Plus includes one EasySing mic and adds real-time AI vocal removal, pitch support and reverb. The standard On The Go 2 includes one wireless mic but does not include AI vocal removal.
HARMAN positions the range for uses including TV and movie audio, karaoke, background music and gatherings. Those are manufacturer use cases, not independent performance findings. Match the model to your room, transport needs, preferred inputs and karaoke features rather than treating RMS output as a sound-quality ranking.
