James Corden and Ruth Jones are reuniting to write and star in The Choir, a new eight-episode comedic drama for Apple TV. Apple says production is underway and the series is planned to premiere globally in 2027, though it has not announced an exact date or episode-release schedule.
What is The Choir about?
Corden and Jones play Ben and Lisa, estranged siblings who have not seen each other for several years. Ben has been living abroad, while Lisa has stayed in their small English town. After events take a bad turn, Ben is forced back to the life he left behind, the town he disliked and his estranged family. A struggling local choir may help the siblings mend their relationship.
