Search high ground and mountainous terrain for the Jackrabbit Sprite, but treat those areas as clues—not confirmed spawn coordinates. Fortnite guides describe Sprites as match-randomized, and the current-season sources do not identify a fixed Jackrabbit location or guarantee one from any chest or code.
Where to look for the Jackrabbit Sprite
High and mountainous regions are the best-supported terrain hints. The Chapter 7 Season 4 tracker reports Jackrabbit sightings more often in those areas, while cautioning that its hints are not verified spawn points. AllThingsHow likewise says the Sprite pool is randomized per match and gives no fixed coordinate list. Its Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprite guide places Jackrabbit among those reported around high and mountainous terrain. Use that information to guide your search, not as a map pin or promise.

Season 4 guidance describes Cheat Code Chests and island Cheat Codes as ways to obtain Sprites. These sources provide random Sprite outcomes, not a confirmed Jackrabbit drop. The guide says blue, purple, and gold Cheat Code Chests have rarity floors, and regular chests may also yield Sprites at a low chance; none of those details guarantees Jackrabbit specifically. The v42.10 tracker similarly warns that island Cheat Codes do not guarantee a particular Sprite family or finish.

Older pages refer to “Sprite Chests,” but that wording is not supported by the later Season 4 guidance, which says dedicated Sprite Chests are gone and Cheat Code Chests are used instead. A listed “null%” drop rate is missing data, not a usable statistic; no reliable Jackrabbit drop rate is established.
What the Jackrabbit Sprite does
Jackrabbit is a Legendary Sprite whose ability lets you jump again while airborne. Nintendo Life reports the in-game description attributed to Epic Games as: “Perform another jump while mid-air.” Its roundup is available at Nintendo Life’s Override Season Sprite guide.

AllThingsHow says the cooldown between jumps decreases with each level. This describes the leveling effect; it is not a measured guarantee of a particular combat advantage.

A Sprite is match-bound until extracted. The Season 4 guide says you can take it to a marked Extraction Site or use an extraction item, including a Portable Extractor, to add it to your collection. Extraction preserves a Sprite you have already found; it does not improve your chance of finding Jackrabbit.

Check the live game before searching
Sprite availability and mechanics can change with patches. The FN Sprite Hub tracker labels its information Chapter 7 Season 4, v42.10, and the third-party Fortnite Item Data Jackrabbit entry, dated September 29, 2026, says historical records do not confirm current availability. Check the current in-game pool and rules before spending a match searching for this specific Sprite.
