Jackery identifies the unit as model JHP-2000A. It is a portable power station, not a permanently installed generator. Its battery stores energy for use through the unit’s outlets; its stated output and capacity do not mean it can power an entire home or connect directly to a home electrical panel. How long will it run a refrigerator during an outage?
There is no defensible single runtime for “a refrigerator” based on battery capacity alone. The result depends on the refrigerator’s actual energy use, compressor startup draw, how often it cycles, conversion losses and operating conditions. Jackery says its backup figures are estimates and actual usage varies; no independent load test or independently verified refrigerator runtime is established here.
For a useful estimate, check the refrigerator’s energy label or measure its consumption over representative operation, then compare that demand with Jackery’s estimates for the intended load. A wattage figure on a label may describe operating or rated draw rather than the appliance’s energy use over a full day, and startup demand can also matter. Confirm that the appliance’s running and startup requirements fit the power station’s output limits. Do not treat 2,048Wh as a guarantee of 2,048Wh delivered to appliances: conversion losses and load behavior affect usable energy.

Battery expansion: check the exact model
Jackery sells the Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 as a 2,048Wh expansion accessory. Jackery states that it is compatible with HomePower 2000 Plus v2 and HomePower 1000 Plus v2, but not Explorer 2000 Plus. That model distinction matters if you own an older Jackery power station: do not assume accessories with similar names are interchangeable. Battery-life and warranty claims
Jackery specifies 6,000 cycles to 70% or more capacity and associates a 16-year projection with one charge-and-discharge cycle each day. The 16-year figure is the manufacturer’s projection under that stated daily-cycle condition, not a guarantee that every unit will provide a particular service life. Actual aging depends on use and conditions.
