To compare Isaac Okoro with other NBA 3-and-D wings, start with role and defensive assignments—not a points total or a single three-point percentage. His 2025–26 Chicago Bulls season shows a substantial rotation role and a 33.0% three-point mark. That establishes a useful baseline, but the available statistics do not prove how his defense measures up to a particular peer.
Okoro’s 2025–26 baseline
The Bulls’ 2025–26 season review lists Okoro at 63 games played, 62 starts and 26.9 minutes per game. He averaged 9.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists, shooting .460 from the field and .330 from three. These are regular-season figures. Chicago Bulls’ 2025–26 season review

Those numbers describe a player entrusted with a regular starting role, but they do not, by themselves, tell you whether he is an elite defender or how much offensive value he creates beyond shooting. Starts and minutes give role context; they are not a defensive grade.

| Season | Three-point percentage | What the figure tells you |
|---|---|---|
| 2023–24 | 39.1% | Accuracy for that season; percentage alone does not show volume or shot difficulty. |
| 2024–25 | 37.1% | Accuracy was lower than the previous season; it does not identify the reason. |
| 2025–26 | 33.0% | NBA.com lists 1.2 makes on 3.5 attempts per game. |
The sequence is a meaningful trend to monitor, not proof of a permanent decline or an explanation for why the percentages moved. When judging a 3-and-D wing’s shooting, compare accuracy with attempts, shot locations, how open the attempts are and whether the player takes shots defenses are prepared to concede. A percentage without volume and shot context can overstate—or understate—the value of the threat.
What a fair comparison with another 3-and-D wing requires
Match role before comparing production
Set minutes, starts and lineup role alongside the box score. A low-usage defensive specialist, a starter and a wing asked to create offense have different responsibilities. Okoro’s 62 starts and 26.9 minutes per game establish his Bulls role in 2025–26; comparisons should use the same season and account for each player’s role rather than treating raw totals as interchangeable.

Use assignment evidence to assess defense
For defense, the key questions are whom a player guards, how often he takes the primary assignment, whether he switches across positions and how he performs in relevant matchups. Steals and blocks are incomplete proxies for those responsibilities. The available official statistics and biographical information do not provide enough opponent-assignment or tracking detail to rank Okoro’s defense against a specific wing.

Include availability and sample size
Games played help put a season’s production in context. If a comparison player has appeared in fewer games or has only a short stint with a team, do not treat that rate as equivalent to a full-season sample. Compare the same season and make sample differences visible.

Look beyond three-point shots
A wing’s offensive contribution also includes attacking closeouts, cutting, transition play, turnovers and creation for teammates. Okoro’s 9.3 points and 1.6 assists per game provide context for his 2025–26 role, but those figures alone cannot establish efficiency or decision quality.
Check size and fit without treating listings as assignments
The Bulls’ 2025 acquisition announcement lists Okoro at 6 feet 5 inches and 225 pounds, while his NBA profile lists him at 6 feet 4 inches and 225 pounds. Bulls acquisition announcement NBA.com player profile The one-inch discrepancy is a reason to keep the source consistent when citing height. Neither a listed height nor a nominal position establishes which opponents a player can guard.

Why this is not a definitive peer ranking
OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges are familiar comparison names, but the available material does not provide a complete, consistently matched set of season role, three-point attempts and defensive-assignment evidence for them alongside Okoro. Naming them as examples is reasonable; claiming that this evidence proves one is better or worse than Okoro is not. A defensible ranking would require comparable-season shooting context and matchup evidence for each player.
