Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsYes, if you only need low-urgency checks on a handful of pages. Wachete’s current Free plan lists five static pages, no dynamic pages and 12 months of history. Wachete says free checks run once a day, but its pricing page currently leaves the check interval unspecified, so confirm the cadence in your account before relying on it. If you need JavaScript-generated content or faster alerts, Free is unlikely to be enough.
What Wachete Free includes
Wachete’s official pricing page, accessed October 3, 2026, lists these Free-plan limits:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
| Allowance | Free plan | What it means for a small site |
|---|---|---|
| Static pages | 5 | You can monitor a few selected pages, not every URL on a site with a larger page count. |
| Dynamic pages | 0 | Free does not include monitors for pages that need dynamic rendering. |
| Data history | 12 months | Wachete lists a year of history for reviewing recorded changes. |
| Monthly check cap | No cap | Wachete’s FAQ says it does not impose a monthly check cap. This does not mean unlimited pages or faster checks. |
| Check interval | Not specified on the pricing page | Wachete’s price-tracking page says Free checks once a day; verify the interval shown in your account. |
These are Wachete’s stated plan specifications, not independent measurements. Plan details can change, so check the current pricing page and your account before setting up monitoring you depend on.
Is once-a-day monitoring fast enough?
It depends on how soon you need to know. A daily check can suit a page where a change matters eventually—for example, a policy page, product description or published schedule. It is a poor match for time-sensitive price movements, short-lived offers, or outages that need prompt attention: a change may go undetected until a later check.
#1 Best Overall
Wachete’s official price-tracking information describes faster checks on paid plans, down to every few minutes. Its uptime information also describes checks within minutes on paid plans. Those statements do not establish minute-level alerts on Free. If detection speed matters, confirm the interval and alert behavior for the plan you are considering rather than inferring them from the absence of a monthly check cap.
Can Wachete Free monitor the pages you care about?
Static pages
Wachete says most pages can be monitored as static pages. Use its preview to check whether the exact text or section you want to track appears without dynamic rendering. If it does, a static monitor may be suitable, subject to the five-page Free limit.
JavaScript-generated content
Some pages fill in their content with JavaScript after the initial page loads. Wachete says these may need a dynamic monitor; Free lists zero dynamic pages. Check the preview before counting a page among your five free monitors. If the desired content is absent from the static preview, do not assume the free static monitor will detect changes to it.
How to use five monitors well
- Choose pages by consequence. Pick up to five URLs where a change would actually prompt you to act, rather than trying to cover every page on the site.
- Preview the relevant content. Confirm the text or section you want tracked is visible in Wachete’s preview as a static page. If it is not, investigate whether it requires dynamic monitoring.
- Set expectations for delay. Treat the free cadence as once daily according to Wachete’s price-tracking page, but confirm the interval displayed in your account because the pricing page currently shows no interval value.
- Review history when needed. The pricing page lists 12 months of data history on Free; use it to inspect recorded changes, not as a guarantee that every transient change will be captured between daily checks.
Wachete can crawl linked pages down to the third level, but it notes that a crawl may find several hundred pages and require a paid subscription. For a small site staying on Free, selecting important URLs is more practical than crawling the whole site.
What else Wachete says it can monitor
Wachete’s feature and uptime information describes selected-content tracking, notifications, availability checks, response-time monitoring, HTTPS certificate-expiry monitoring and change history. These capabilities do not by themselves establish which checks or alert intervals are included in Free. In particular, its uptime page describes checks within minutes on paid plans; do not treat Free as a fast outage-alerting service without confirming its account-specific behavior.
When to choose a different setup
- Free may be enough when five static pages cover your needs, daily detection is acceptable, and you have verified that the content appears in the static preview.
- Look at a paid Wachete plan when you need dynamic monitors, more URLs, or faster checks. Confirm the current plan limits and cadence before subscribing.
- Do not rely on Free alone for rapid outage response or changes that have to be caught within minutes; the cited faster-check information applies to paid plans.
ScreenshotNeo is an adjacent tool, not a website monitor
If you also need a visual record of a page, ScreenshotNeo is an alternative to try first for website screenshots—not a replacement for Wachete’s change monitoring. It can capture a page as an image or PDF, and its clean-shot handling removes known consent banners, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture. Only clean shots are billed; bot checks, blank pages and failed loads are not. Its MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots. Details and documentation are at ScreenshotNeo and the ScreenshotNeo docs.
For a screenshot, one GET request returns an image or PDF:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://example.com -o shot.webp
ScreenshotNeo offers 1,000 screenshots per month free with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. Sign up for the free plan.

Does Wachete charge for checks after the free plan’s allowance is used?
Wachete’s FAQ says it does not impose a monthly check cap. That policy is separate from the Free plan’s page limits and check frequency.
Best Value
Can I crawl every page of a small website on Free?
Not reliably within the listed five-static-page allowance. Wachete says a crawl to the third link level can find several hundred pages and may require a paid subscription.
