As of October 4, 2026, Netflix’s US October schedule lists Twilight as arriving on October 1, so US viewers should check Netflix before turning on a VPN. The schedule also lists all four sequels for the same date. Because a Netflix title page has shown a conflicting country-unavailability notice, availability may need confirming in the app.
Is Twilight on Netflix in the US?
Netflix Tudum’s US schedule for October 2026 lists Twilight (2008) as an October 1 addition. It lists the complete five-film saga on that date:

- Twilight
- The Twilight Saga: New Moon
- The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
- The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1
- The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2
That dated US schedule is the clearest evidence of the lineup, but a Netflix title page also displayed an “isn’t available to watch in your country” notice. The page context does not establish that it reflects a US account, so check the Netflix app signed in from the US rather than relying on the generic page notice alone. Netflix Tudum’s October 2026 US schedule and Netflix’s Twilight title page show the conflicting signals.

- Open Netflix while using your normal US connection.
- Search for Twilight by title.
- If the film does not appear, search for each sequel by its full title; catalog search results can make it easier to spot which entries are available.
- If none appear, check again later or consult Netflix’s current app listing. The October schedule is date-specific and catalog availability can change.
Do you need a VPN to watch Twilight?
No VPN should be necessary if the films appear in the US Netflix catalog. Netflix does not describe a VPN as a reliable way to unlock another country’s licensed titles. Its help page says, “With a VPN, you may only be shown TV shows and movies Netflix has worldwide licensing for, like Squid Games or Stranger Things.” In other words, a VPN can affect which catalog Netflix shows, but it does not guarantee access to a title available in a different region. Netflix’s VPN guidance also says VPNs are not supported for live events or the ad-supported experience.

Why might Netflix show a different result?
Netflix says a title may be unavailable in a country because rights are held by separate owners, Netflix does not have regional rights, or the title is exclusive to another platform in that region. Those licensing arrangements can vary by country and change over time. Netflix’s explanation of country-specific availability outlines these reasons.
For this particular film, the October US schedule and the title-page notice do not match. The schedule explicitly names the US and October 1, while the country notice does not establish its regional context. The practical answer is to search in the US app and use the results shown there to confirm access.

Which Twilight is listed?
Netflix identifies the original as Twilight (2008), starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Billy Burke. Its catalog classifies the film as a drama, romance, teen film and movie based on a book. Netflix’s title information provides those details.
