A dedicated periscope camera and a high stated battery capacity are meaningful features to compare, but megapixels and milliamp-hours do not tell you how the phone performs in practice. The cited material supplies no controlled camera, battery, charging-time, durability or performance test for the Xiaomi.

Is the Xiaomi 18 Fold better than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8?
The available hands-on account does not support a universal winner. A brief report syndicated by Gizmodo.cz describes a comparison with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8. In that demonstration, the author found the Samsung inner display looked brighter; the Xiaomi lay flat on a desk without wobbling. Those are limited, subjective observations, not controlled brightness or hinge-stability tests.

How does the Xiaomi 18 Fold compare with Apple’s foldable?
The available material does not establish specifications, pricing, availability or hands-on findings for an Apple foldable, so a factual device-versus-device verdict is not possible from these sources. It would be misleading to turn the Xiaomi’s published specifications or a short Samsung demonstration into a claim that it beats an Apple product.

Can you use Google apps on the Xiaomi 18 Fold?
Android Central reported in its September 2026 comparison that the phone is limited to China and that its Chinese software build lacks Google Play and Google services out of the box. That distinction matters: the reported configuration is not the same as a locally supported international model with Google services preinstalled. The material available here does not verify whether software configurations or regional availability have changed since that report.
Android Central also raised notification and memory-management concerns. Can you buy the Xiaomi 18 Fold outside China?
Xiaomi’s official China shop lists the Xiaomi 18 Fold at a starting price of ¥10,999, and Xiaomi Community launch-news material said sales were to begin on September 10, 2026. Those are China-market listing and launch details—not confirmation of overseas retail, export stock, or a local warranty. The listing does not establish Amazon inventory, and Amazon listing, seller and shipping availability have not been checked here.
Android Central reported a China-only limitation in its September 2026 comparison. Before considering an import, verify the specific seller and device, mobile-network compatibility where you live, software and Google-service configuration, repair access, and the terms and geography of any warranty.
