Those figures make it a candidate for a modest-sized room, but they are manufacturer specifications—not independently verified cooling results. Before choosing it, check that you can route its exhaust hose through a suitable window and provide a nearby grounded outlet.

How well does it cool, and what room size suits it?
The manufacturer’s 16–23 m² application-area guidance is a useful starting point, not a guarantee of a particular temperature drop. Actual results can depend on factors such as room layout, insulation, sun exposure, outdoor heat and how well the exhaust setup is installed. The available documentation does not establish independently measured cooling performance for this model.

There is only a small amount of owner feedback to weigh alongside the specifications. At the time ProductReview.com.au was accessed, it displayed one review, rated 5.0. The reviewer, posting from NSW, described cooling a 4 m by 5 m room, liked the supplied window slide and hose, and said the unit was quieter than expected. The reviewer also mentioned an insulated roof cavity. That is one person’s experience, not a controlled test or evidence that the same results should be expected in other homes. Will the exhaust setup work in your home?
The hose is part of the cooling installation, not an optional extra: the manual requires the exhaust hose in Cool and Auto modes. It describes fitting the hose to a window slider. The supplied ventilation kit may help, but whether setup is practical depends on your window opening, the path to the window and the space available around the exhaust outlet.

What does day-to-day ownership involve?
The manual recommends cleaning the air filter every two weeks. Rear filter access and water drainage are listed on the product card. If the unit displays a P1 protection code, the manual directs users to drain the water collection tray; it also calls for draining before storage. For storage, Sôlt recommends running Fan mode for 12 hours beforehand to dry the unit.

Check the current warranty terms for your circumstances and keep proof of purchase. Verdict
The GGSAP3500W’s strongest case is straightforward: it is a cooling-only portable unit with a manufacturer-stated 3.5 kW capacity, a 16–23 m² application-area guide and a listed ventilation kit. It is most plausible for someone whose room falls within that guidance and whose window, hose route and grounded outlet can support the installation. The main reservation is evidence: the official materials provide specifications and care instructions, while the available owner feedback is just one anecdote. Independent cooling, noise, energy-use and long-term reliability results are not established here, so the published figures should not be mistaken for independently verified performance.
