Independent reviews praise its mopping, but the evidence is less reassuring for hair pickup, forceful contact with obstacles, and access beneath low furniture. It is not proof that robot vacuums suit every home; it is a model whose value depends on your floors, clutter, and the price you can get.
What the Qrevo 2 Pro offers for the money
The Qrevo 2 Pro is a robot vacuum and mop supplied with a multifunction dock. Roborock says the dock charges the robot, empties its dustbin, washes the mop, and dries it. The robot has detachable mop mounts intended to make carpet cleaning easier to manage, plus an anti-tangle brush system and a reversible side brush. These features add convenience, but they do not guarantee that every carpet stays dry or every kind of hair is picked up.

Roborock specifies 25,000 Pa of suction on its support FAQ page. That is a manufacturer specification, not a measurement from an independent comparative test. The company also advertises 0% hair entanglement from a controlled internal test using 0.1 g of hair in three lengths, while noting that results may vary with environmental conditions. Neither claim establishes how well the robot will collect hair from your particular rugs or floors. Roborock’s support FAQ and US product feature page describe those manufacturer claims.

| Review | Positive findings | Concerns |
|---|---|---|
| TechRadar, September 28, 2026 | Praised cleaning and mopping. | Found that the robot is relatively tall, cannot get under some low furniture, and does not clean hard floors flawlessly. |
| Tom’s Guide | Found effective hard-floor cleaning and impressive mopping in standardized tests using hair and other debris on hardwood and carpet. | Reported difficulty picking up hair and forceful bumps into some obstacles. |
These are the reviewers’ observations, not a guarantee of results in every home. A room with mostly open hard floors is a different job from a carpet-heavy space with long hair, low sofas, and objects left on the floor. Read the TechRadar hands-on review and Tom’s Guide hands-on review with those differences in mind.
When its strengths are most useful
For routine mopping on hard floors
The two reviews’ strongest common ground is mopping: both describe it favorably. The dock’s mop washing and drying can also reduce the amount of routine mop care you handle yourself. That convenience may matter more than a headline suction figure if your main goal is to keep hard floors regularly maintained.

For homes where carpet and mopping share space
Roborock’s detachable mop mounts are designed to reduce the risk of wetting carpets when the robot switches tasks. Treat that as a useful design feature, not a promise that carpets will always stay dry. Check the carpet types and app settings you plan to use, and supervise early runs to see how the robot behaves in your layout.

Where it may disappoint
Hair pickup is not settled by the anti-tangle claim
Roborock’s internal test concerns hair entanglement; Tom’s Guide separately reported that the robot struggled to pick up hair. Avoid treating reduced tangling as proof of strong hair collection. If pet or human hair is a major cleaning problem, that review finding deserves particular weight.

Furniture clearance and obstacles affect coverage
TechRadar found the robot too tall for some low furniture, while Tom’s Guide reported forceful contact with some obstacles. Measure the clearance beneath the furniture you expect it to clean and consider how much clutter is typically on your floor. A robot that cannot pass beneath a sofa will leave that area outside its routine coverage; an obstacle-prone layout may require more tidying or supervision.

Plan for replacement disposable dust bags for the dock. TechRadar described Roborock-branded floor cleaner as optional, not required. The available reporting does not establish a dependable annual consumables cost, so include bag availability and price in your own ownership calculation rather than assuming a precise yearly figure. - Consider it if: you value automated mop maintenance, have substantial hard-floor areas, and can get it at a price that makes the convenience worthwhile.
- Look more closely before buying if: hair pickup is a top priority, your rooms have many small obstacles, or your key cleaning areas sit beneath low furniture.
- Compare alternatives on: the price in the same market and on the same date; dock functions; whether mop mounts detach or simply lift; hair and debris pickup across your floor types; obstacle handling; robot height; and ongoing bag or cleaner costs.
The available reviews do not establish a head-to-head winner against another model. Use the trade-offs above to compare candidates against your own rooms rather than assuming a higher suction specification or a larger feature list will settle the decision.
