Google announced the Pixel 11 Pro at $1,099 in the US, and its October 2026 promotion offers up to $650 back with an eligible trade-in. The $849 figure is therefore not established as a generally available price: whether you can reach it depends on the phone you trade in, its condition, the selected variant and the offer terms.
Is the Pixel 11 Pro available for $849?
Google’s US launch price for the Pixel 11 Pro was $1,099, according to its August 2026 announcement. That is the relevant starting point for an unlocked phone before trade-in or other discounts. The $849 headline is not verified as the phone’s usual price or a price every buyer can get.

Google’s US specifications and purchase page displays “From $619” after eligible trade-in alongside a $1,099 comparison price. The lower figure depends on a qualifying trade-in; it is not a general price reduction. A trade-in estimate may also change after Google inspects the submitted device.
How Google’s October trade-in offer works
Google’s US offers page advertises up to $650 back with an eligible trade-in when purchasing a Pixel 11 Pro or Pixel 11 Pro XL. The stated offer period is October 1 through October 29, 2026. It applies to selected unlocked or Verizon variants, and buyers must meet the offer’s US residence and US shipping requirements.
#1 Best Overall
- Attention-grabbing design meets the latest evolution of the Google Pixel Camera on the new Google Pixel 11 Pro; Gemini Intelligence helps manage details so you can live in the moment[1]; and the phone is available in two sizes
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan: Works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers[2]
- Stay informed without looking at your screen: When your phone is face down, Pixel HiLight gently alerts you with subtle glowing lights when your favorite contacts are calling or you’re talking with Gemini; exclusive to Google Pixel 11 Pro phones
- Magic Capture catches the moment as you live it: With just one tap, Pixel 11 Pro captures video and photos, and automatically edits, crops, and unblurs a curated collection, ready to share – and you get the memory of how it felt to be in the moment
- Two new cameras for more brilliant photos: A larger telephoto sensor captures 30% more light for clear, beautiful photos and videos, even in the dark[3]; Pixel’s longest zoom ever helps you capture details from impressive distances[4]
- “Up to” is a maximum, not a guaranteed credit. Google says trade-in values vary with the old phone’s model, condition, year and configuration, and are subject to inspection.
- Check the exact variant. The offer is limited to selected unlocked or Verizon versions; do not assume every storage configuration or carrier option qualifies.
- Use your own trade-in value. The $849 figure is $250 below the $1,099 launch price. A buyer reaches that net hardware cost only if the applicable trade-in credit is $250 and there are no other costs or conditions changing the total. The maximum advertised credit does not mean every customer receives that amount.
- Confirm the offer at checkout. Promotions and trade-in estimates can change, and the offer has a stated end date. Review the selected phone, shipping destination, trade-in estimate and final order total before buying.
What the Pixel 11 Pro offers
Google positions the Pixel 11 Pro as the smaller of its two Pro phones. The company lists a 6.3-inch Super Actua display, Tensor G6 processor and storage options of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance findings.
Camera hardware
Google lists a 50MP wide rear camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera with Macro Focus, a 48MP 5x telephoto camera and a 42MP front camera. These figures describe the camera hardware; they do not establish real-world image quality or show how it compares with another phone.

Software support and introductory AI offer
Google promises seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. Its launch announcement also included six months of Google AI Pro for the Pro phones, with higher Gemini usage, 5TB of cloud storage and Google Health Premium. The AI Pro benefit is an introductory offer with separate terms and a redemption deadline, not a permanent feature of the handset.

Charging
Google says the phone can charge to up to 55% in about 30 minutes with a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher, sold separately. Its Qi2.2-certified Pixelsnap wireless charging is listed at up to 25W. Actual wired charging depends on using the specified compatible charger; buyers who do not already have one may need to budget for it.

What to check before deciding
- Compare the final checkout total with the $1,099 US launch price, rather than treating the maximum trade-in amount as a guaranteed discount.
- Check your old device’s estimated value and the offer’s inspection conditions before relying on a particular net price.
- Choose storage based on your needs: Google lists 256GB, 512GB and 1TB configurations, but the listed offer may not apply to every variant.
- Factor in charging equipment if you need fast wired charging; Google says the compatible 30W-or-higher USB-C PPS charger is sold separately.
- For a value comparison with another phone, use each device’s actual checkout price and compare storage, display size, camera hardware, charging setup and software-support period.
Google announced Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL on August 12, 2026, with US starting prices of $899, $1,099 and $1,299, respectively; it said the phones would be on shelves beginning August 20. A later Google announcement on August 25 said they were on sale. These launch details do not establish independent battery endurance, camera results, benchmark performance or overall value against competing phones.
