What the AP8030 offers
The AP8030 is an upright purifier measuring 200.5 × 200.5 × 327 mm and weighing 2.73 kg, according to the Oricom user guide. Its stated room-size suitability is 10–15 m². That is the manufacturer’s specification, not a measured guarantee of air-cleaning performance.

The guide lists power consumption of 45 W and a noise range of 30–55 dB. It does not provide noise measurements for individual fan speeds in the specifications surfaced here. Nor does the available material establish a CADR figure or independent laboratory results, so these figures should not be read as proof of a particular cleaning rate.

How the three filter stages work
Oricom’s guide describes a three-stage filter set and assigns each stage a different role:

These are the functions described by the manufacturer; the guide is not independent verification of real-world removal performance. If you need a purifier for a particular health concern or room condition, the stated coverage alone does not establish how effectively it will address it.
Controls, fan speeds and sleep mode
The AP8030 has low, medium, high and turbo fan settings. Its timer can be set for 2, 4 or 8 hours, and continuous operation is also available. Sleep mode automatically selects low speed and dims the indicators. The light/sleep control also operates the night light, according to the user guide.

Filter cleaning, lifespan and replacements
The filter set is not washable. Oricom advises vacuum-cleaning it once a month and estimates filter life at about six months with use 24 hours a day, or about 12 months with use 12 hours a day. These are approximate estimates from the guide; actual life varies with conditions.
The replacement filter part number is 2B0136. The guide says replacement filters can be purchased from Oricom, but stock and price can change. One ProductReview user reported difficulty finding a replacement, saying it was frequently out of stock; this is an individual account, not a current stock check. Before buying the purifier, confirm the filter’s current availability and cost. Oricom’s support centre provides product-number search for guides and FAQs.

Price and customer-review context
When accessed in 2026, Oricom’s product collection listed the AP8030 at AUD $129. Treat that as a dated price signal, not a guaranteed current price.
ProductReview displayed a 4.5 score from nine reviews when accessed in 2026. That is a small, self-selected set of customer opinions, not a representative survey or a controlled filtration test. Individual comments included praise for ease of use and compact design, alongside the replacement-filter availability concern.

Who should consider the AP8030?
It may suit someone looking for a small-footprint purifier for a small room who values straightforward controls, timers and sleep mode, and is prepared for recurring filter maintenance and replacement. Its dimensions, stated coverage and features support that use case; they do not establish performance beyond the manufacturer’s specifications.
If you are comparing it with other purifiers, useful evidence includes independently reported clean-air delivery performance, noise by fan speed, replacement-filter price and availability, and power use. The available AP8030 specifications do not provide all of those comparisons, so check them rather than inferring them from room-size suitability.
