How the two drawers and controls work
The two zones can be set independently. That is useful when two foods need different temperatures or cooking times. The manual describes two controls for coordinating use:
- SYNC: Coordinates different cook times so the zones finish together. The zone with the longer cooking time starts first; the other is held so it can finish at the same time.

Does it cook faster or use less fat?
No independent, dated performance statistics for the AF300ANZ are established here, so there is no sound basis for a hands-on cooking verdict or a quantified comparison with another air fryer or oven.
Ninja’s UK product page for the related AF300UK advertises “up to 75% faster than fan ovens” and “up to 75% less fat than traditional frying methods.” Ninja says the speed comparison used fish fingers and sausages, including preheat, against fan ovens; the fat comparison used deep-fried hand-cut French fries. Cleaning and care
The AF300ANZ manual says the drawers and crisper plates are dishwasher-safe, but recommends hand-washing the drawers to extend their life. The main unit is not dishwasher-safe. Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool.
