The LG gram Pro 16 makes a strong case if your priority is carrying a roomy 16-inch Windows laptop without much weight: LG lists select models at about 1.2 kg. That is a useful portability advantage, not proof that the gram Pro 16 is the best Windows laptop for everyone. Its display, graphics, battery, and price depend on the exact model and market, so check the full model number before buying.
What makes the gram Pro 16 notable?
It pairs a 16-inch screen with a low listed carry weight. LG’s specifications put the 2024 16Z90SP integrated-graphics configuration at 1,199 g and the 2025 16Z90TS at 1,239 g. Those figures make the series worth considering for mobile productivity when screen space matters but a heavier laptop is undesirable. They apply to named configurations, not every laptop sold under the gram Pro 16 name. LG’s 2024 announcement and 2025 announcement identify those specifications.

Which model and configuration are you considering?
“LG gram Pro 16” covers different generations and hardware tiers. LG identifies the 2024 16Z90SP and 2025 16Z90TS; TechRadar’s September 2026 review covers 16Z90U and 16Z95U families. The specifications should not be carried from one generation or SKU to another.

TechRadar describes differences in processors, graphics, memory, storage, and display among 2026 configurations. Some have a 2560 × 1600 touch IPS display; others have a 2560 × 1800 non-touch IPS display. Check the precise model listing in your region for resolution, touch support, processor, graphics, memory, and storage rather than assuming one review represents the entire line. How should you interpret the battery claims?
Battery capacity and battery life are separate measures, and the available figures describe different models or test conditions:
| Figure | What it applies to |
|---|---|
| 77 Wh | LG’s 2024 16Z90SP integrated-graphics configuration; LG also lists 77 Wh for the 2025 16Z90TS. |
| 90 Wh | LG’s 2024 16Z90SP discrete-graphics configuration. |
| Almost 17 hours | TechRadar’s September 2026 PCMark 10 office-use battery test of its reviewed unit, using settings midway between performance and battery. |
| Up to 27 hours | LG’s video-playback claim, reported by TechRadar, when using AI Battery Efficiency; this is a manufacturer claim, not the PCMark result. |
The tested result is a more relevant reference for office-style use than the maximum video-playback claim, but it is still a single review result, not a guarantee for every configuration or workload. Screen, graphics, settings, and actual use can affect runtime. TechRadar’s review gives the test context and identifies the reviewed 2026 families: LG Gram Pro 16 review.

Is the LG gram Pro 16 worth buying?
It is a credible shortlist choice for someone who wants a 16-inch Windows laptop and places unusual importance on low carry weight. It is less straightforward to recommend if your decision depends primarily on a particular screen type, graphics capability, battery duration, or price: those details vary by configuration, and the collected evidence does not establish a controlled comparison proving it leads the market.
TechRadar describes the higher-tier configuration it reviewed as expensive and identifies price as its main drawback. Its article gives inconsistent starting-price statements, so there is no reliable single starting figure to repeat here. Check the live regional listing for the exact SKU and current price; availability and pricing may differ by market.

What to check before you buy
- Match the model number. Confirm the full SKU and generation, not just “gram Pro 16.”
- Verify the display. Check resolution and whether the panel is touch-enabled; the 2026 review describes both 2560 × 1600 touch IPS and 2560 × 1800 non-touch IPS options.
- Check the performance tier. Confirm processor, graphics, memory, and storage for the configuration being sold in your region.
- Assess battery evidence carefully. Compare a test result under a stated workload with your likely use; do not treat a manufacturer’s “up to” video-playback claim as typical mixed-use runtime.
- Compare the regional price. Use the current listing for the exact configuration rather than an unqualified series-wide starting price.
