Hisense says it is no longer available for purchase, so anyone considering one should treat it as a used or remaining-stock appliance and verify its condition and support.
What is the Hisense HRTF326B?
Hisense Australia identifies the HRTF326B as a black, 326L top-mount refrigerator and states: “This product is now discontinued and not available for purchase.” The manufacturer’s Australian product page is therefore useful for ownership information, but it is not evidence of current stock.

The capacity is split between 253L of fresh-food space and a 73L freezer, according to the Hisense specification sheet. It is frost free and uses automatic defrost. The freezer sits above the refrigerator compartment.
What does the CHOICE review establish?
CHOICE lists the HRTF326B in its small 300–380L top-freezer category and gives 2022 as its test year. However, its public listing withholds the Expert Rating, detailed temperature-test results, reliability and satisfaction scores, and recommended status behind membership access. Those unavailable fields mean the public evidence does not establish how well this model performed in CHOICE’s tests. It would be misleading to infer a positive or negative verdict from the visible specifications alone.

CHOICE also lists 3.5 stars, 313 kWh/year claimed energy use, a three-year warranty, China as the country of origin, and $849 as the price. The $849 figure is historical listing context, not a current offer; its price date is not stated. The 3.5-star rating and energy figure are published figures, not independent performance findings.
Dimensions, installation and door swing
The cabinet measures 595 mm wide, 650 mm deep and 1696 mm high (W × D × H). Hisense specifies installation clearances of 50 mm on each side, 50 mm behind and 100 mm above. Allow for these gaps when checking a kitchen recess; the appliance dimensions alone do not describe the required installation space.
The packaged dimensions are 641 × 686 × 1760 mm, and the net and gross weights are 56 kg and 60 kg respectively. The door can be reversed to open either left-to-right or right-to-left. Confirm that the intended hinge side, surrounding cabinets and full door swing work in the actual installation space before buying or moving the unit.

Hisense publishes a 3.5-star energy rating, 313 kWh/year comparative energy consumption and 251.69 kWh/year projected annual energy consumption. The specification sheet does not state its publication year; these are manufacturer figures, not independently measured results. CHOICE’s listing also shows 313 kWh/year. Compare energy figures only with appliances assessed under the same market and rating system.
The listed noise level is 43 dB(A). The Australian-market specification gives a 220–240 V, 50 Hz supply, 80 W rated input, an operating temperature range of 10–43°C, 34 g of R600a refrigerant and a 2 m power cord. These electrical and refrigerant details apply to the Australian documentation and should not be assumed to describe a similarly named model sold elsewhere.

Should you buy a used or remaining-stock HRTF326B?
Because Hisense marks the model discontinued and unavailable, any listing should be checked carefully rather than treated as routine current retail stock. Before committing, verify the exact model label, whether the refrigerator is new or used, its operating condition and the seller’s return terms. For a used unit, check that the door seals close properly, the shelves and bins are present, and both compartments cool; arrange transport and installation with its dimensions, weight and clearances in mind.

Compare it with currently available refrigerators by usable capacity and split, cabinet size plus required clearance, energy rating under the same Australian system, noise, door reversibility, storage layout, warranty and current parts support. The HRTF326B’s published specification answers many fit and feature questions, but the public CHOICE page does not disclose the test results that would settle its independent performance.
For current owners: parts and compatibility
The specifications list an ice tray and egg tray, but current model-specific replacement stock is not established here. If a shelf, basket, tray or other part is missing or damaged, confirm compatibility with Hisense or the seller using the model label before ordering; similar-looking refrigerator parts are not necessarily interchangeable.
