Does the automatic lumbar support actually move?
Yes. Independent reviewers report that the lumbar support moves automatically. The question is whether the motion suits you: Notebookcheck described humming and a jerky sensation that could distract, while PCGamesN also found the automatic support irritating. Reviewers’ reactions matter because this is an active, moving support system rather than a fixed lumbar pad.

If you are sensitive to mechanical noise or prefer a consistent pressure point, try the tracking in person if possible, or make sure the seller’s return terms let you test it at home. HBADA lists ten intensity settings, but the available reviews do not establish that a particular setting eliminates the sound or sensation.
How useful are the massage, heat and cooling features?
There is no single reviewer consensus. Notebookcheck and Tom’s Guide praised heating and reported generally positive comfort impressions, though Notebookcheck had reservations about the massage. TechRadar liked the heating, cooling and massage, while PCGamesN criticized the effectiveness of the massage and lumbar heating. Those are subjective hands-on assessments, not evidence that the features provide therapeutic benefits.

The practical value depends on whether you will use the functions often enough to justify paying for and maintaining a more complex chair. Treat massage, heating and ventilation as comfort extras, not substitutes for a medical treatment or a guarantee of improved ergonomics.
Will the X7 fit your height and room?
HBADA recommends the chair for users 150–195 cm tall on its product listing. That is a broad stated range, not a guarantee of a good fit: seat depth, lumbar position, armrest adjustment and your preferred posture still matter. Confirm the exact regional model and available adjustments before buying.

Tom’s Guide reports 75 pounds, so the sources disagree; check the precise model and regional specification with the seller rather than assuming either figure applies to every X7. PCGamesN lists a maximum user weight of 136 kg; verify that limit against the specific chair variant offered in your region.
Reviewers repeatedly describe the chair as bulky or cumbersome. Tom’s Guide also flagged assembly, and both TechRadar and PCGamesN raised concerns about aspects of the footrest, headrest or armrests. Consider your available floor space and how the chair will be delivered and assembled, as well as whether you can adjust its components comfortably.

Tom’s Guide reports a removable 5,200 mAh battery. Notebookcheck and TechRadar describe a wired remote that stows on the chair. In practical terms, consider where the controller will sit and whether you are comfortable managing a battery or charging cable; those details may affect convenience, but they are not necessarily problems for every owner.
Who should consider the Hbada X7?
The X7 may suit someone whose height and workspace fit the chair, who wants powered lumbar movement and is likely to use its heat, massage or ventilation functions. It is a riskier choice if you dislike moving mechanical support, are sensitive to humming, need a compact chair, or expect the extras to deliver a proven health benefit.
Before deciding, compare chairs on the points that will shape daily use: body fit and adjustment range, fixed versus motorized lumbar support, noise and feel, build quality, footprint and weight, warranty and support, and the total price in your region. Where possible, test the X7; otherwise, review the seller’s return policy and confirm the exact model specifications.
