What the HRF420BS offers
Haier lists the HRF420BS in a Satina finish, with white and black finishes shown as alternatives. It is a bottom-freezer model with two freezer drawers. Do not confuse it with the HRF420BHS, a separate model that has a water dispenser. Haier Australia’s product page lists an RRP of $1,099 and a two-year parts-and-labour warranty; check current retailer prices and warranty terms before buying.

Haier lists a 5.5-star energy rating and annual energy consumption of 255 kWh. These are label specifications, not a guarantee of what a particular household will use; actual consumption varies with use and the surrounding environment. Compare the label and annual kWh figure with other refrigerators of similar size when assessing running costs.

CHOICE lists the model as tested in 2025, but its accessible page hides the expert rating and performance scores behind member access. Who should consider it?
