Goodyear’s Wingfoot Three (N3A), a Zeppelin NT airship carrying Grand Theft Auto VI and Vice City branding, was reported flying south from Ohio on October 12, 2026. The tracked leg was toward Winston-Salem, North Carolina—not a confirmed arrival in Miami. Reports said Pompano Beach, Florida, might be a later destination, but the onward route and arrival were not confirmed.
What happened to the GTA 6 Goodyear blimp?
Photos shared by members of the Goodyear Blimp Fan Club showed Wingfoot Three in GTA VI and Vice City livery. RockstarINTEL attributed the first shared image to Rebecca Trussel and later photos to Cecil Richmond and Jim Cassatt; airborne photographs were attributed to Roger Durfee. The aircraft is commonly called a blimp, while the more precise description is a Goodyear Zeppelin NT.

Flight-tracking details reported by GTA BOOM showed Wingfoot Three departing Wingfoot Lake, Ohio, for Smith Reynolds Airport in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The report put its October 12, 2026 departure at 8:37 a.m. EDT and its estimated arrival at 12:58 p.m. EDT. Those were reported tracking details and an estimate, not confirmation that it landed at that time. GTA BOOM also reported an estimated distance of about 343 miles and flight time of roughly four hours and twenty minutes for that leg; these figures describe that reported trip, not the airship’s general performance.

Miami was not a confirmed destination in the reports. RockstarINTEL said the airship was scheduled to fly from Goodyear’s Airdock in Akron, Ohio, to Pompano Beach, Florida. GTAVice.net described Florida as a possible next destination after the tracked flight toward North Carolina. GTA BOOM likewise reported an expected onward trip to Pompano Beach, while noting that the rest of the schedule and exact stops were not public.
#1 Best Overall
Pompano Beach is in South Florida, but it is not Miami. The available reports do not establish that Wingfoot Three reached either place. The most reliable distinction is between the reported, tracked Ohio-to-North Carolina leg and the less certain Florida destination.
How certain are the route and promotion details?
- Observed: Fan-group photos showed the GTA VI and Vice City branding on Wingfoot Three.
- Reported tracking: GTA BOOM attributed the Ohio-to-North Carolina flight details to FlightAware.
- Expected, not confirmed: Pompano Beach or Florida was described as a planned or possible onward destination, not a verified arrival.
- No official campaign announcement cited: GTAVice.net reported that Rockstar had not commented, and GTA BOOM said neither Rockstar nor Goodyear had announced an official route.
The branding alone does not establish who commissioned or paid for it, or prove a formal Rockstar-Goodyear marketing partnership. The reporting also does not say that the aircraft is available for public rides.

Where can you track the blimp?
GTA BOOM reported using FlightAware tracking to follow the Ohio-to-North Carolina leg. Tracking information can show an aircraft’s reported position or planned destination, but it does not guarantee a future stop or prove an estimated arrival occurred. The reports did not establish a publicly announced full itinerary, so any later Florida stop should be treated as unconfirmed unless subsequently verified.
