A Fisher & Paykel product specification sheet reproduced by ProductSpec NZ and dated 21 August 2018 gives gross capacity and annual energy use; the manufacturer’s product fiche has a separate entry for the model. These are document-reported specifications, not measurements from an independent energy test. Before comparing a used unit with another refrigerator, photograph its rating plate and match the model and market-specific energy label or documentation. Do not assume either set of figures applies to every RX628DX1.
Dimensions and installation checks
The documents also differ on depth, which may partly reflect whether the handle is included. The specification sheet gives 910 mm wide, 1795 mm high and 700 mm deep excluding the handle, or 740 mm including it. CHOICE lists 91 cm wide, 179 cm high and 77 cm deep, and gives recommended installation dimensions of 101 cm wide, 189 cm high and 87 cm deep. Confirm the exact unit and consult its installation instructions rather than treating cabinet dimensions as the full clearance required.

The manufacturer fiche reports frost-free compartments, 42 dB airborne acoustical noise emissions and a four-star frozen-food compartment for its RX628DX1 entry. Check that the fiche matches the unit’s rating plate before applying those details to a specific appliance.

How to assess a used RX628DX1
