These are different packages, not interchangeable price points for one identical bundle. The Fly More Combo is a named bundle; check the exact live listing for its contents rather than assuming batteries or accessories from the package name alone. Is the Mini 3 suitable for a beginner?
DJI markets the Mini 3 as beginner-friendly and easy to fly, and describes it as a compact, lightweight camera drone. That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independent assessment of how easy it is for every new pilot to operate. The product offers a useful combination for casual aerial photography: a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, 4K/30fps video, and True Vertical Shooting, which is intended for portrait-format footage. Do not assume that the Mini 3 has the Mini 3 Pro’s more advanced capabilities. DJI’s comparison lists the Mini 3 Pro at 4K/60fps and the Mini 3 at 4K/30fps. The cited product information does not establish that the Mini 3 has the Pro’s subject tracking or collision sensors. If those features matter, compare the exact model specifications rather than relying on a listing headline.
How long does the DJI Mini 3 fly?
DJI gives a maximum flight-time figure of 38 minutes with the standard Intelligent Flight Battery and 51 minutes with the separately sold Intelligent Flight Battery Plus. These are manufacturer maximums from controlled testing, not a promise of typical flight duration; DJI says results vary with environment, use, and firmware. Is the DJI Mini 3 under 249 grams?
DJI’s stated standard takeoff weight is 248 g, measured with the standard battery, propellers, and a microSD card. With the Battery Plus, DJI says the aircraft weighs about 290 g. Therefore, “under 249 g” applies to the specified standard-battery configuration, not every configuration.
Weight alone does not establish that a drone is exempt from every rule. Requirements depend on where and how you fly, so check local aviation rules for your location and actual aircraft setup. DJI also directs users to check local laws and regulations on its specifications page.

The store lists both an RC-N1 configuration and versions with DJI RC, a controller with a 5.5-inch display. Make sure the listing matches your preference and that its battery and accessory count is clear. A model name alone is not enough to identify what a third-party or marketplace offer includes.
