Those are manufacturer specifications and advertised uses—not independent test results. Its practical appeal depends on whether that capacity and accessory bundle suit your cooking; note the manual’s specific limits, and check local availability and package contents before buying.
What is the Braun PureEase FP 3131 WH?
It is one countertop appliance that switches between a food-processor setup and a blender setup using Braun’s EasyClick system. Braun identifies the model as FP3131WH or FP 3131 WH. The processor handles the tasks Braun lists—chopping, slicing, grating, whisking, puréeing and kneading—while the separate blender attachment is presented for smoothies and drinks. Braun’s product page describes the features and included tools; it does not provide independent performance measurements.

What comes with the FP 3131 WH?
Braun’s product-page package description lists a knife blade, dough tool, emulsifying tool, reversible 4 mm slicing/grating disc and blender attachment. It also lists two speed buttons plus pulse. Because contents can differ between regional versions or sellers, confirm the exact bundle for the unit being offered rather than assuming every box includes the same parts.

The instruction manual’s parts key also shows the pusher, feed tube, lid, bowl, detachable drive shaft, power unit, blender blade assembly, sealing ring, goblet, filler cap and blender lid. It identifies a 2 mm slicing/grating disc, extra-fine grating disc and mini chopper/mill as optional accessories for select models. That does not establish that those accessories fit every FP 3131 WH sold in every market; check Braun’s compatibility information for the specific unit.
What can it do—and what should you not use it for?
Documented uses
Braun lists chopping, slicing, grating, whisking, puréeing and kneading for the processor, and smoothies and drinks for the blender attachment. The supplied attachments indicate the kinds of tasks the manufacturer intends the appliance to handle, but they are not proof of results for a particular recipe or ingredient.

Important exclusions and precautions
- The manual says the processor is not suitable for crushing or grinding coffee beans, or for turning granulated sugar into caster sugar.
- Do not use the blender for spices: the manual warns that spices may damage plastic parts.
- Do not run the blender empty.
- For frozen smoothie ingredients, do not blend them while frozen into a solid mass; break up the mass first.

What does independent coverage establish?
CHOICE publicly identifies the FP 3131 WH as a food processor/blender combo. Its visible listing describes the processor bowl as small and the blender as standard, and shows specification fields including capacity, wattage and dimensions. However, the expert score, recommended status and detailed test results are restricted to members. It is fair to say CHOICE has a listing for the model, but not to infer a score or performance outcome from information that is not publicly visible. CHOICE’s public product listing also describes it as discontinued; that is a market-specific signal, not proof that it is unavailable everywhere.

CHOICE displayed a price of A$159 on its accessible listing, with no publication year stated. Treat that as a displayed listing value, not a current Australian market quote or a price available in other countries. What should you check before buying?
- Exact model: Check that the listing is for FP 3131 WH / FP3131WH, rather than a similarly named Braun appliance.
- Regional bundle: Verify which attachments are actually included, especially the blender and the processor tools you need.
- Capacity: Decide whether a 2.1 L total bowl, 1.2 L usable liquid capacity and 1.2 L blender suit your typical batch sizes.
- Availability: Braun’s English product page displayed “out of stock” when accessed, while CHOICE calls the product discontinued in its public listing. Stock and status can differ by market and change over time.
- Support and accessories: Braun’s support center provides instructions for use and product-support links. Check compatibility before ordering replacement seals, blade parts or optional accessories.
Is the Braun PureEase FP 3131 WH worth considering?
Consider it if you want a single appliance with a food processor and separate blender, find the stated capacities appropriate, and can confirm the bundle and support options for your market. Look elsewhere if you need a documented coffee grinder, spice mill or caster-sugar function: the manual expressly rules out those processor uses and cautions against spices in the blender. Publicly available evidence establishes Braun’s specifications and CHOICE’s listing, but not the model’s hidden test score or a verified performance verdict.
