The original Babybee Luna is a discontinued side-by-side double pram, listed at 75 cm wide and 17.8 kg, with a maximum recommended load of 20 kg per seat. It may suit families comparing a twin or sibling pram, but buyers should distinguish it from the newer Luna2 and check the condition, warranty and exact model details—especially when considering a second-hand unit.
Is the original Babybee Luna discontinued?
Yes. CHOICE marks the original Luna as a discontinued model. ProductReview says it has been replaced by Luna2, and Babybee describes Luna2 as the latest version of its side-by-side double pram. The two generations should not be treated as interchangeable: specifications, warranty eligibility and accessory compatibility may differ.

Could the Luna work for twins or siblings?
The Luna is a side-by-side double stroller with two seats, and CHOICE lists newborn suitability when used with the supplied cocoon. That makes the configuration relevant to families with twins or two young children, but the available specifications alone do not establish that a particular newborn setup is appropriate for every child or situation. Follow the model’s manual and use only configurations approved for that model.
For twins or a newborn and toddler, check the actual unit’s included components, each child’s fit, the weight limit for each seat and the combined gear you plan to carry. Do not assume Luna2’s capsule or bassinet configurations apply to the original Luna.

What warranty applies to a runout or second-hand Luna?
Babybee’s published warranty page classifies Luna among runout and clearance prams and states a standard two-year warranty. Under that policy, runout and clearance models are not eligible for the lifetime or extended warranty described for eligible models. Free accessories supplied in the box and separately purchased parts or accessories have a standard one-year warranty. Babybee says warranty and spare-parts support is limited to Australia.
For a used pram, do not assume a warranty transfers or remains valid. Confirm the purchase date, seller status, proof-of-purchase requirements and current terms directly with Babybee before relying on cover. Ask about parts availability for the exact Luna generation as well.

What should you check before buying a used Luna?
- Confirm the generation: Check the product label, paperwork and frame details to distinguish original Luna from Luna2.
- Inspect condition and operation: Examine the frame, wheels, brakes, harnesses, seats, recline and folding mechanism. Make sure all locking parts engage properly.
- Check included components: Verify that the cocoon or other advertised pieces are present and intended for the original model. Do not assume Luna2 accessories fit.
- Measure your route and storage: The listed original width is 75 cm. Measure narrow doorways, lifts and storage areas, and ask for the folded dimensions of the exact unit; these are not established by the visible listing.
- Test car-boot fit yourself: No source here establishes boot fit. Check the actual folded pram against your vehicle’s usable opening and cargo space.
- Check warranty and support: Request the receipt and ask Babybee about applicable terms and parts support before purchase.
- Read the correct manual: Use the manual for the exact model and follow its assembly and operating instructions.
What do customer reviews and safety information establish?
ProductReview displayed 629 reviews and a 4.9 rating when captured in 2026, with 99% positive and 1% negative. Those are platform figures based on self-selected customer reviews, not representative survey results or laboratory testing; favorable owner comments should not be taken as a guarantee of typical experience.
CHOICE’s captured public listing provides specifications but not its detailed expert rating or test outcomes. It therefore does not support a claim here that the Luna passed or failed a safety, durability or performance test. The product manual warns: “Incorrect assembly or use can result in serious injury or even death.” It also says: “Never leave your child unattended with the pram or packaging.” Read and follow the correct manual before assembly or use.
