The 11-inch iPad Air with M3, model A3267, adds cellular data to Apple’s 2025 tablet; the 11-inch Magic Keyboard, model A3339, is a separate accessory unless a retailer confirms a bundle. The tablet’s strongest case is for someone who needs mobile data away from Wi-Fi. The keyboard makes sense if you also want a physical keyboard and trackpad attached to the tablet.
What exactly is this configuration?
Apple identifies A3267 as a Wi-Fi + Cellular model of the 11-inch iPad Air (M3), introduced in 2025. Apple also lists A3269 under Wi-Fi + Cellular; A3267 is the identifier named in this configuration. The keyboard is a separate companion product, not included in Apple’s listed tablet box contents. Check the retailer’s listing to confirm whether a particular purchase is a bundle.

The tablet comes in blue, purple, starlight, and space gray, with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Apple’s published specification lists Wi-Fi 6E with 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3 across models. The cellular model also supports sub-6 GHz 5G and Gigabit LTE, each listed with 4×4 MIMO. Apple’s technical specifications provide the model and configuration details.
What does the 11-inch display offer?
Apple lists a 2360-by-1640-pixel Liquid Retina display at 264 pixels per inch and 500 nits brightness. It uses LED backlighting and IPS technology, with P3 wide color, True Tone, a fully laminated construction, and an antireflective coating. The 11-inch measurement is the diagonal of the display as a rectangle; the viewable area is smaller.

These are manufacturer specifications, not measurements from an independent test of this configuration. An 11-inch-class screen favors a compact tablet setup; readers who need more workspace can compare Apple’s separately sold 13-inch iPad Air, though the sources here do not establish how the two compare in independent testing.
When is Wi-Fi + Cellular worth choosing?
Cellular is useful when you regularly need internet access away from Wi-Fi and want the iPad to connect without relying on a phone hotspot or a nearby network. Apple describes this iPad’s cellular service as data-only. It lists eSIM and Wi-Fi calling, but those features do not guarantee that a particular carrier or plan will support them.
Apple says cellular data plans are sold separately, and that a purchased model is configured for particular cellular network technology. Compatibility and plan availability depend on the carrier and location; Apple also notes that not all carriers support eSIM. Before buying, confirm that your carrier supports this model, the relevant network bands, eSIM if you intend to use it, and a suitable plan where you live or travel. The listed 5G support is sub-6 GHz; actual access and performance depend on network coverage and carrier service.

- Apple M3 chip — next‑generation performance for smooth multitasking, creative apps, and everyday use.
- 11‑inch Liquid Retina display — bright and detailed visuals with wide color (P3) and True Tone technology.
- 128 GB internal storage — space for apps, photos, videos, and files.
- Wi‑Fi connectivity — fast wireless performance for browsing, streaming, and downloads.
- 12 MP front & rear cameras — quality photos and video calls.
If you mostly use the iPad where Wi-Fi is available, compare the Wi-Fi-only model’s current price before paying for cellular capability and a separate data plan. Whether the added connectivity is worth the cost depends on how often you will use it.
What does the Magic Keyboard A3339 add?
Apple’s March 4, 2025 announcement describes a redesigned Magic Keyboard for iPad Air with a larger built-in trackpad and a 14-key function row, including controls for features such as screen brightness and volume. It attaches magnetically and uses the Smart Connector for power and data, rather than Bluetooth. A USB-C charging connector is built into its machined-aluminum hinge. Apple says the keyboard is compatible with the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air.
The accessory changes the way you can interact with the tablet: it provides physical keys and a trackpad in the attached setup. It may suit typing-heavy work or tasks where pointer input is useful; that is a feature-based fit, not a measured productivity improvement. If you mainly use touch or already prefer a separate keyboard, consider whether this accessory’s design and added cost suit your routine.

- Apple M3 chip — delivers strong performance and power efficiency for apps, multitasking, and creative tasks.
- 11″ Liquid Retina display — bright, detailed visuals with wide P3 color and True Tone for immersive viewing.
- 128 GB storage — local space for apps, media, documents, and files.
- Wi‑Fi connectivity — fast wireless performance (Wi‑Fi 6E) for browsing, streaming, and downloads.

The source announcement does not connect the A3339 identifier to a complete compatibility list. Because the title’s keyboard model number alone does not establish compatibility for every retail listing or configuration, confirm the exact size and device compatibility with the seller before purchase. Apple’s listed tablet box contents include a 20W USB-C power adapter and a one-meter USB-C charge cable, but do not list the keyboard.

Apple’s Canadian launch announcement in March 2025 listed the 11-inch Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad Air at C$999 and the 11-inch Magic Keyboard at C$379. These are historical launch-period Canadian prices, not current quotes. Check a local retailer for today’s price, availability, storage configuration, and whether a keyboard is included.
CHOICE’s public page names this exact A3267 tablet and A3339 keyboard combination and displays A$2,598. Treat that as the price displayed on the page when accessed, not a verified current retail quote. Its expert rating, test results, pros and cons, and tester comments are marked members-only, so the public page does not support a conclusion about how the configuration performed in independent testing. Apple also describes M3 performance comparisons in its launch announcement. Those are Apple’s manufacturer claims, not independent benchmark results for this exact tablet-and-keyboard setup. Apple’s technical specifications say its battery testing used preproduction M3 Air units in January and February 2025, including video playback and internet browsing over Wi-Fi or LTE/5G; the same page cautions that results vary with settings, use, network, and other factors. The sources cited here do not provide a specific battery-hour figure or an independent battery result for this configuration.
How should you decide?
- Choose the cellular configuration if you often work or browse away from Wi-Fi, your carrier supports the model and service you need, and a separate data plan fits your budget.
- Consider the Magic Keyboard if you want an attached physical keyboard and trackpad, and have confirmed the A3339 listing is compatible with your iPad.
- Compare a Wi-Fi-only model if mobile data would be an occasional convenience rather than a regular need.
- Choose storage deliberately: compare 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB against the files and apps you expect to keep on the device.
For the exact configuration, Apple’s technical specifications and launch announcement are the available primary sources for features, while the public CHOICE page does not expose its detailed test findings. Apple’s March 4, 2025 announcement is available at Apple Newsroom Canada.
