It depends on which device you mean. The original Galaxy Fit and the broader Galaxy Fit product line are not the same question: Samsung announced the newer Galaxy Fit3 and began sales in Japan on January 31, 2025, but that does not establish whether the original model is still sold or whether Fit3 is currently available in every country. Check Samsung’s local product pages and retailers for stock in your market.
Is the original Samsung Galaxy Fit discontinued?
The available official information does not establish an end-of-sale date for the original Galaxy Fit. Nor does an empty product listing, or the arrival of a newer band, by itself confirm when Samsung stopped selling a particular generation. If you are looking for the original model, check local Samsung and retailer listings and confirm the exact model number before buying; remaining stock may differ by seller and country.

Is the Galaxy Fit product line discontinued?
Samsung announced Galaxy Fit3 as its latest entry-level smart band, so the announcement shows that the Fit series had a later-generation device. It does not prove that every earlier model remains on sale, that all models receive ongoing support, or that Fit3 is offered in every region. Samsung Japan said sales of Fit3 began there on January 31, 2025, through Samsung’s online shop, Amazon Japan, and major electronics retailers. That is a dated, Japan-specific launch notice—not confirmation of current inventory elsewhere. Samsung Japan’s Fit3 launch announcement

Galaxy Fit3 is the later Fit-series option identified in Samsung’s official material. Samsung Canada lists it as model SM-R390 and describes a 1.6-inch AMOLED display, sleep and exercise tracking, and more than 100 exercises. Samsung also advertises up to 13 days of battery life; that is the company’s claim based on its stated usage scenarios, not an independent test result. Product features and availability can vary by region. Samsung Canada’s Galaxy Fit3 product page

Check compatibility before buying a Galaxy Fit3
Phone compatibility can rule out a successor even when it is available locally. Samsung’s Korea support page, dated January 1, 2025, says Galaxy Fit3 does not support iOS phones. Samsung Canada specifies a Samsung Galaxy phone running Android 10.0 or later with at least 1.5 GB of memory. Confirm requirements on the product and support pages for your region before purchasing. What to verify when shopping for an older Fit or Fit3
- Generation and model number: Make sure a listing is for the original Galaxy Fit, Fit2, or Fit3—not simply a generic “Galaxy Fit” search result.
- Local stock: Availability differs by market and seller. A 2025 launch in Japan does not guarantee current stock in your country.
- Phone requirements: Check the exact operating-system and device requirements for the model and region.
- Accessories: Samsung Canada says the Fit3 wall charger is sold separately. Check the listing for what is included and verify that any charging accessory or replacement band matches your exact model. Samsung Canada’s Fit3 listing
- Battery claim: Treat “up to 13 days” as Samsung’s advertised maximum under its stated usage scenarios, not a guaranteed result for every wearer.
How to interpret availability
If Samsung’s local store does not show a model, that alone does not establish a global discontinuation date. The official information cited here confirms Fit3’s Japan launch and lists Fit3 product details in Canada, but it does not establish current worldwide stock, the original Galaxy Fit’s end-of-sale date, or the present availability of Fit2. For a buying decision, rely on current local listings and the exact model number rather than assuming every generation has the same status.
