Is Red Dead Redemption 2 free to download until October 12?
There is not enough official evidence to say that it is. The October 11 Ranzware report is a secondary source, and the available evidence does not establish a free offer, its storefront, or its terms. The report’s page could not be opened for verification: Ranzware’s October 11, 2026 report.

What does Steam currently show?
Steam’s listing identifies Rockstar Games as the developer and publisher, gives December 5, 2019 as the PC listing’s release date, and describes a story about Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde Gang. It also says Red Dead Online is included. The listing can be checked at Steam’s Red Dead Redemption 2 page.

When accessed on October 11, 2026, the Steam page showed a paid purchase promotion ending October 22, 2026. That is a storefront snapshot, not confirmation or disproof of a separate giveaway elsewhere; prices and availability may differ by region.
Which store has the alleged free download?
The available evidence does not identify a storefront for the claimed free download. Steam’s listing documents a paid digital purchase route, but it does not establish whether another authorized store is running a separate promotion. - Check the offer’s region, platform, start and end times, eligibility rules, and whether it grants a permanent license or only temporary access.
