Yes. Phantom Blade Zero is announced for Windows PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, launching alongside PlayStation 5. S-GAME and the official PlayStation page list October 29, 2026; Steam currently shows October 28, 2026, so PC players should treat October 29 as the publisher’s stated date while watching their storefront for the final regional release time.

S-GAME has published minimum, recommended, ray-tracing and path-tracing configurations. The baseline specifications require a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 PC, 16 GB of RAM, DirectX 12 and an SSD. All listed resolution and frame-rate targets assume upscaling is enabled.

PC platforms and release date

S-GAME announced Phantom Blade Zero for Steam and the Epic Games Store as part of its global launch lineup, alongside the PlayStation 5 version. A December 12, 2025 announcement named those three platforms. The official PlayStation product page identifies the PS5 edition.

Why the date differs by one day

S-GAME founder and CEO Soulframe Liang announced on June 2, 2026: “Phantom Blade Zero will now launch on October 29, 2026, moved from its previous date of September 9, 2026.” The current S-GAME homepage and PlayStation page also show October 29, 2026.

Steam’s product listing displays October 28, 2026. The available announcements do not explain the discrepancy. It may reflect storefront time-zone handling or a listing that has not yet been synchronized, but that explanation has not been confirmed. Check the date and unlock time shown by the store account you plan to use before launch.

Published PC system requirements

The following specifications come from S-GAME’s August 12, 2026 announcement. They are publisher requirements and targets, not independent benchmark results or guarantees that every system with the listed parts will sustain the stated performance.

Tier Operating system Processor Graphics card Memory, API and storage Publisher target
Minimum Windows 10/11 64-bit Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB 16GB RAM; DirectX 12; SSD required 1080p at 30 FPS, with upscaling enabled
Recommended Windows 10/11 64-bit Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB 16GB RAM; DirectX 12; SSD required 1440p at 60 FPS, with upscaling enabled
Ray tracing recommended Not separately specified Not separately specified NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB No separate RAM, API or storage details stated 1080p at 60 FPS, with upscaling enabled
Path tracing recommended Not separately specified Not separately specified NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB No separate RAM, API or storage details stated 2160p at 60 FPS, with upscaling enabled

What the minimum tier means

The minimum tier is aimed at 1080p and 30 frames per second, with an upscaler active. Its graphics choices are the 6GB GTX 1660 or 8GB RX 5500 XT, paired with an i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600. A machine that only narrowly meets these parts should be viewed as an entry point rather than a promise of high settings, locked frame pacing or headroom for demanding effects.

What the recommended tier means

The recommended configuration moves to 1440p and 60 FPS, again with upscaling enabled. S-GAME names the RTX 3060 Ti 8GB or RX 6700 XT 12GB, alongside an i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 5600X. This is the clearest target for a conventional high-quality PC setup, but the announcement does not identify a preset, texture setting or upscaling mode used to establish it.

  • DPx3/HDMI 2.1 four digital I/O interfaces, support 8K resolution output, multi monitors to enjoy wider audio and video entertainment.

Ray tracing and path tracing are separate targets

Ray tracing is not simply an extra checkbox on the recommended row. S-GAME lists a separate RTX 5060 8GB target for 1080p at 60 FPS with upscaling. Path tracing has a higher requirement: an RTX 5080 16GB target for 2160p at 60 FPS with upscaling. The publisher does not provide separate CPU, RAM, DirectX or SSD details for either feature tier, so do not infer that those rows replace the baseline Windows, memory and storage requirements.

Important qualifications about performance

Upscaling is part of every stated target

Each published resolution and frame-rate target says “with upscaling enabled.” That means the internal render resolution is lower than the output resolution for at least part of the workload. Native 1080p, 1440p or 4K performance cannot be inferred from the table, and a system that reaches a target with an upscaler may not reach the same frame rate when rendering natively.

These are not independent tests

No independent benchmark or statistical performance study is established by the available information. The component lists and frame-rate figures are S-GAME’s own specifications. Actual results can vary with graphics presets, driver versions, background software, thermal limits, image-quality mode and the final PC build.

Storage capacity is not published

An SSD is required, but S-GAME does not state an installation size or required free-space figure. Do not reserve a specific capacity based on an estimate presented elsewhere as an official requirement. Leave additional room for the game, patches and the operating system, but choose the drive size according to your wider library rather than a number the publisher has not supplied.

How to check whether your PC is ready

  1. Confirm Windows. Open Settings, choose System, then About, and verify that the system is running a 64-bit edition of Windows 10 or Windows 11. A 32-bit installation does not meet the stated requirement.
  2. Identify the processor. In the same About page, note the exact CPU model. Compare it with the minimum or recommended processor family, not just the number of cores or a generic “i5” or “Ryzen 5” label.
  3. Identify the graphics card and VRAM. Open Settings > System > Display > Advanced display, or use the graphics adapter information in Device Manager. Check the full model and dedicated memory: the listed tiers distinguish, for example, 6GB, 8GB, 12GB and 16GB cards.
  4. Check system memory. Go to Settings > System > About and verify at least 16GB of installed RAM for the baseline tiers. The ray-tracing and path-tracing rows do not publish a different RAM amount, so retain the 16GB baseline unless S-GAME updates the guidance.
  5. Verify DirectX 12. Press Windows + R, type dxdiag, press Enter and read the DirectX Version field. The baseline listing calls for DirectX 12.
  6. Confirm the installation drive. In Settings > System > Storage, identify the drive where you will install the game and make sure it is an SSD. The announcement gives no capacity requirement.
  7. Choose a realistic target. Use the minimum row for a 1080p/30-FPS starting point, the recommended row for 1440p/60 FPS, or the feature-specific GPU rows if ray tracing or path tracing is your priority. Keep upscaling enabled when comparing your configuration with S-GAME’s stated targets.

How to interpret borderline hardware

A faster CPU cannot compensate for a weak GPU

The requirements pair a processor and graphics card because games can be limited by either. If your CPU is above the named model but your GPU is below the relevant row, the graphics card is the more obvious limitation for resolution, effects and VRAM-heavy settings. Conversely, a qualifying GPU does not guarantee smooth frame pacing if the processor falls well below the listed CPU tier.

VRAM matters as much as the model name

The table specifies memory beside each graphics model. Compare both the GPU family and its VRAM rather than assuming a newer-sounding card automatically matches an older card with more memory. Texture quality, ray-traced effects and higher output resolutions can increase memory pressure.

Do not treat feature tiers as upgrade instructions

The RTX 5060 and RTX 5080 entries describe targets for particular rendering features. They do not state that every other component in a system can remain unchanged, nor do they provide a complete build list. Before upgrading for ray tracing or path tracing, verify the rest of the machine against the baseline operating-system, RAM, DirectX and SSD requirements.

Practical preparation before launch

  • Install current Windows updates and graphics drivers shortly before release, while keeping a rollback option if a new driver causes instability.
  • Install the game on an SSD with more free space than the eventual download size; the official announcement does not disclose that size.
  • Close unnecessary background applications during first-run testing so that stutter is not confused with the game’s own performance.
  • Start with the publisher’s matching target: 1080p/30 on minimum-class hardware or 1440p/60 on recommended-class hardware, with upscaling enabled.
  • Adjust one setting at a time and monitor frame-time consistency, not only the average FPS counter. A high average with severe dips can still feel uneven.
  • If you enable ray tracing or path tracing, expect to reassess resolution, upscaling mode and other effects rather than assuming the baseline recommended preset still applies.

What is still unknown

S-GAME has not published a required SSD capacity, separate memory specification for the two ray-tracing tiers, detailed graphics presets, upscaling technology or mode, native-resolution benchmarks, monitor-refresh assumptions, or a complete CPU specification for those feature rows. Those omissions are important when budgeting an upgrade or predicting exact settings.

The published platform information establishes Steam, Epic Games Store and PlayStation 5 for the announced global launch. It does not establish an Xbox or Nintendo Switch release, a console performance mode, or a later platform schedule.

Bottom line for PC players

Phantom Blade Zero is coming to PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Plan around the publisher’s October 29, 2026 date, while noting Steam’s current October 28 listing. A minimum-class PC uses a GTX 1660 or RX 5500 XT, a qualifying older-generation CPU, 16GB RAM, DirectX 12 and an SSD for a stated 1080p/30-FPS upscaled target. The recommended class steps up to an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT and a newer midrange CPU for 1440p/60 FPS with upscaling. Ray tracing and path tracing have their own GPU targets, and none of these figures has been independently benchmarked.
