FY2027 guidance
Management forecast reported and organic sales growth of 5.5%–8.5%, adjusted segment operating margin of 27.5%–27.9%, and adjusted EPS of $34.25–$35.25 for fiscal 2027. The release says this guidance excludes the pending Filtration Group and CIRCOR Commercial and Defense Aerospace acquisitions. It is a forecast, not a guarantee, and acquisition results or execution could affect the outlook.
CEO Jenny Parmentier described the outlook as a record year “supported by a broadening recovery in industrial markets and positive organic growth across all market verticals.” That is management’s view of expected conditions, rather than independent confirmation that the recovery will occur.

What supports the case for PH
- FY2026 sales and adjusted EPS grew, while reported operating cash flow was strong.

- The company said it returned nearly $2 billion to shareholders through buybacks and dividends in FY2026.
What could weaken the case
- Valuation: The sources here do not provide a current share quote or enough valuation analysis to determine whether the market price already reflects expected growth. Strong results alone do not show that a stock is cheap.
- Industrial-cycle exposure: Stifel’s reported analysis found the highest observed correlation in its analysis between PH share-price changes and global PMI changes, with an R-squared of about 0.54. This is a reported statistical relationship, not proof that PMI causes share-price moves or a forecast of future performance.
